Leslie cast on a B to the Three brioche hat out of House of A La Mode in Tweed DK colorway Calypso. She also worked on the Hasukai cowl out of Brooklyn Tweed Plains in Treehouse.
Laura has knit on a Bounce Blanket out of Neighborhood Fiber Co in Studio DK Belair and Shades of Turqouise. She has also cast on a mini magpie by skeinagins out of Tempting Ewe Yarns in the Rose Cottage colorway. It is being knit on size 8 needles. She also cast on the Little Vest by Lisa Chemery out of Another Crafty Girl’s Pound Puppies colorway on size 7 needles.
Laura finished a pair of afterthought heel socks from a cranked sock tube set out of Rock and string Creations in the Christmas at the Cabin colorway. These socks are knit on size 0 needles. She also finished a Woodland Slouch by Wooly Wormhead out of Fully Spun Postscript DK in the POC Inclusive Pride colorway. She knit the brim on the hat on size 4 needles and the body on size 5. She also finished a Beloved Bonnet from Tin Can Knits out of a worsted weight alpaca yarn and size 5 needles.
Leslie finished Starboard Rock out of Stranded Dyeworks in the Ice Skating Party colorway. +2,015 meters for SD2020. She also put heels and toes in a pair of cranked socks (Coloring Book Yarns in Autumn & Mint colorway). +50 meters SD2020
Laura has finished plying the Colorwae Fiber Arts in the Happiness colorway on Cheviot. It was split into a traditional 3 ply and a chain ply and it a total of 310 yards. She also finished the gradient from Anglelocks Fiberworks on corridale. It is 200 yards of a chain ply. She also plied the batts from River Cottage Farm and got 440 yards. She has started spinning some Polwarth from Neighborhood Fiber Co in the Pride gradient.
Leslie read Sin & Surrender, book 6 in Demigods of San Francisco series by KF Breene (m/f modern paranormal fantasy). She is currently reading How To Save an Undead Life by Hailey Edwards (m/f modern paranormal fantasy) and re-listening to The Illuminae Files by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff (very very light romance, sci-fi)
