Ep530 – Spin Always, Ply Never

Leslie is working on a Granny Goes Large crochet blanket out of Stylecraft DK and is working on a pair of sportweight socks (56 stitches on size US3) out of KnitSpinFarm’s Mad for Plaid colorway.  She also worked a bit on the Hasukai cowl out of Brooklyn Tweed Plains in Treehouse 

 Laura has  been knitting on some toe up socks out of Knit Spin Farm in the International Dark Sky Week colorway.  She also resumed working on her McWheely cowl which is knit in the round.   She also started some sock tube socks out of Into the Whirled Speckle Dyed Pakokku sock in the Handbags at Dawn colorway.  She is using Prym Ergonomics Carbon Technology.  She got them from Yarn and Y’all.  

Leslie finished some blocks for the Switchback BOM

Laura finished some toe up socks out of Knit Spin Farm in the National Park Week colorway.

Laura is finished  spinning the singles of Hipstrings Narwhal Pool Party (merino wool/tussah silk/pearl viscose/trilobal nylon).

Leslie finished spinning all the singles of a 5oz braid of Merino/Yak/Silk by Rock & String in the Rustic Rainbow colorway.

Leslie is reading The Wonder Engine by T. Kingfisher.  She’s been listening to We’ve Got Answers by Charlamagne Tha God. She’s been watching Taskmaster (british comedy panel series).

Laura has started listening the Shadow and Bone (YA fantasy)
