She has also cast on the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/irene-adler\"> Irene Adler <\/a>shawl by Kirsten Kapur out of WM lace in a we\u2019re different colorway.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/jackaroo\"> \u00a0Jackaroo<\/a> back and fronts are done and the sleeves will be cast on this week.<\/p>\n<p><strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Leslie is working on a pair of<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/vanilla-bean-striped-socks\"> Vanilla Bean<\/a> socks out of Fishknits strong heart base in the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.etsy.com\/transaction\/260473983?\">After the Storm<\/a>\u201d colorway. \u00a0She is also working on an<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/etherial-tank\"> Etherial Tank<\/a> in<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hazelknits.com\/ruby-love-filigree-pure-1125-yards-short-skein\/\"> Hazelknits Filigree lace Ruby Love colorway<\/a> \u00a0held double on a size 4\/3.5mm needle.<\/p>\n<p><strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Laura has plied the merino\/angora blend from Rain\u2019s Obsessive Stitchery. \u00a0She got 372 yards of a 2-ply from 3oz.<\/p>\n<p><strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Leslie finished a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/tensfield\">Tensfield hat <\/a>by Martina Behm out of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jimmybeanswool.com\/knitting\/yarn\/Fyberspates\/VivaciousDK.asp?showLarge=true&amp;specPCVID=55377\">Fyberspates Vivacious DK in the Tweed Imp colorway<\/a> on 4.5mm\/US7 needles.<\/p>\n<p><strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Leslie finished spinning 7oz of<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/people\/udontcallmeles\/fiber\/spinning-straw-into-gold-spinning-straw-into-gold\"> Spinning Straw Into Gold<\/a> batts on the Hansen. \u00a0Each 1oz is a different shade. \u00a0She\u2019s contemplating options for plying.<\/p>\n<p><strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Question from themartiniknitter<b>, \u201c <\/b>Hey do either of you guys do \u00a0drop spindle spinning?
