{"id":294,"date":"2010-03-02T21:05:37","date_gmt":"2010-03-03T02:05:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/theknitgirllls.com\/?p=294"},"modified":"2010-03-02T21:05:37","modified_gmt":"2010-03-03T02:05:37","slug":"warmth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theknitgirllls.com\/index.php\/2010\/03\/warmth\/","title":{"rendered":"Warmth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mississippi has had a cold snap the last few days. \u00a0It made me very happy to have the Thorpe I knit back in January.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Thorpe\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2786\/4275120173_cdc18e5aaf.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"375\" height=\"500\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not the most flattering hat in the world, but it does keep me warm, a very important thing when cheering middle schoolers on at a soccer game in 30 degree weather. \u00a0Here&#8217;s some details&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Pattern: Thorpe by Kirsten Kapur of Through the Loops<\/p>\n<p>Yarn: Fleece Artist BFL Aran and Lamb&#8217;s Pride Bulky for the crochet edging that Leslie did.<\/p>\n<p>Needles: \u00a0Size 9 (this hat is top down so I started on dpns and then switched to circulars).<\/p>\n<p>Notes: I love top down hats and this pattern is perfect. \u00a0It is very easy to follow and adjust sizing on. \u00a0Plus, I love how warm this hat is. \u00a0I&#8217;m making matching wristers out of the remainder of the yarn.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mississippi has had a cold snap the last few days. \u00a0It made me very happy to have the Thorpe I knit back in January.
