Leslie is working on the Men Brial out of Why Knot in the Spunky base.  She also cast on Advent 2020 sweater by Heleen’s Knithouse using a Suburban Stitcher Advent kit. Laura has cast on a pair of socks using opal yarn and size 00 needles. She is working over 60 stitches. She is thinking about the button box throw by Helen Stewart with Opal Yarn leftovers.

Leslie finished nothing this week but is working on watercolor holiday cards.

Leslie started spinning Hipstrings “Farmer’s Market” colorway. She’s also doing the Taskmaster Advent Calendar.

Laura has finished the singles Hipstrings Influencer (75% sw merion, 12.5% Sari Silk, 12.5% Trilobal Rainbow Nylon) for the Hipstrings along. She is planning on spinning a 3-ply from the 24 oz she has and making a sweater from the finished yarn. She is also sampling on a new spindle from batty fibers. She finished the 2022/23 advent from inglenook and started Hipstrings Base 12.  She also started spinning some Hipstrings on the new Daedalus Dove and some inglenook silk/flax for the Ply Spinners Guild along.

Leslie has started Somewhere Beyond The Sea by TJ Klune (m/m romance fantasy) and Bury Your Gays by Chuck Tingle (fantasy). She also finished Nine Goblins by T. Kingfisher and started A Wizard’s Guide to Defensive Baking by T. Kingfisher.

Laura is watching Game of Wool, hockey and heated rivalry. She organized her 2026 plans for knitting.

Laura has finished the first body of the footpath socks out of Woolens and Nosh (August club colorway) on size 0s.  Laura has also started Look at My holes out of Kelbourne Woolens Mojave on size 8 needles   Laura has also started the Bright Axis Tee DK by Tellybeanknits using Woolens and Nosh DK and size 2.5 and 4 needles.  Laura has cast on the Color Block Beanie on size 3 and 5 needles using some BFL BFF by Ewetopia. She has also cast on a Gr8 Gingham Hat by Jessie Maed using some stash yarn and handspun on size 3 needles.

Leslie is working on a Color Vortex LegitKit. LINK to FPP video – this made something click in my brain and now I almost never get it wrong!
