Leslie made progress on an old WIP – Winchester Plaid, Anti-Posession Mittens out of Brooklyn Tweed. She cast on for Brioche Adventure by Jonatan Tallow out of last year’s HipStrings advent.
Laura is working on a pair of plain socks out of Must Stash Yarns in the Hawaii Volcanoes colorway. She also started the Out of Winter shawl by TamyGore. She is using size 6 needles and knitting it out of some Koomasee BFL that she spun. She also started a Quynn hat by Woolly Wormhead out of Shirsty Cat Designs Just the Worsty in the Lusty colorway.
Leslie finished a Seychelle’s Top from Itch to Stitch, part of my monthly indiestitch boxes (I do receive a small referral fee if you use that link but the cost is the same regardless)
Laura has been spinning on some patchwork kits from Hello Yarn to eventually knit into a Flax Light by Tincanknits. Laura has begun spinning some Polwarth from Into the Whirled in the Plausible Impossibility colorway.
Leslie is reading the Gobbelino London, PI series by kim Watt (urban satire/mystery). She has been binging Maintenance Phase with Aubrey Gordon (Your Fat Friend) and Michael Hobbes (You’re Wrong About). She started watching the Wheel of Time series on Amazon Prime (based on the Robert Jordan books).
Laura has been reading Daughter of the Deep by Rick Riordan (middle grade/lower YA version of 2,000 leagues under the sea).
