Episode 198 – In A Lovable Way

Laura is knitting on some plain afterthought heel socks out of Lollipop Yarn on size 1 (2.25) needles.  She is knitting on the Red Robin Shawl by Helen Stewart out of Juno Fibre Arts Alice in the Raisen colorway.  It is being knit on size 6 Signature needles.  She has also ripped out parts of her Antler and prepped for reknitting.

Leslie is working on the Magic Cake Ruffle Shawl by Paula Emmons Fuessle on a size 6/4.00mm, but it hasn’t gotten much love lately.  She is also working on Driftwood using Valley Yarns Amherst on a US Size 9.  She started a pair of stripey socks out of Magic & Moonshine in the “Your Mom’s Kitchen” colorway.

Laura has some batts from Dripping fiber Studio (160 yards 2-ply) Knitting Hill colorway.

Leslie spun a braid of Big Alice Dyes in 80% merino 20% silk in the Sturm Und Drang colorway and got 440 yards.  She also spun 4oz of Knitty & Color in the Goldenrod colorway and hopes to put the two together in a project.

Episode 196 – Lost Month of March

Laura is knitting on some plain afterthought heel socks out of Lollipop Yarn on size 1 (2.25) needles and  String Theory Colorworks Contuinium on size 1 (2.25) needles.

Leslie is working on the Magic Cake Ruffle Shawl by Paula Emmons Fuessle on a size 6/4.00mm, but it hasn’t gotten much love lately.  She cast on Driftwood using Valley Yarns Amherst on a US Size 9.

She has also cast on a pair of plain vanilla socks using Gale’s Art Wonder sock in the Graffiti and Asphalt colorway

Laura has finished:

Plain Afterthought heel socks out of Vesper in the Gemstone colorway.  These were knit on size 1s and incorporate short row shaping for the instep.

Pioneer Cuff from a Laura Nelkin Kit.  Knit on size 2 needles.

Wurm hat as a chemo hat.  Knit out of Dancing Dog Dyeworks Flamenco DK in the love my gnomies colorway.  It was knit on size 4 and 6 needles.

Glitz at the Ritz by Helen Stewart.  It was knit using size 6 needles and used Made in America Yarns Wayfarer

Dragonfly Wings using some Lost City Knits and size 4 needles.

Leslie has knit a Hermione’s Cabled Hat in Fiberspates Merino Superwash in the Bluebird colorway, and is using a 4.5mm/US size 7 needle.  She also knit a hat using the texture pattern from Hermione’s Every Day Socks in Sincere Sheep Cormo.  She cast on and finished a very ugly pair of socks using Schoppel Ambiente using a 2.75mm needle.

Laura has finished spinning some Falkland from in the Bee Mice Elf Algae colorway (150 yards).  She has started spinning fiber from Sadie of Knitter’s Nightmare in her BFL base in the New Zealand Colorway.
