Laura has cast on a pair of toe-up afterthought heel socks using Must Stash Yarns in the 10 Days of Fiesta colorway. She is using Trekking XXL in color 62 for the contrast heel and cuff. She has also cast on a Honey Cowl out of Madtosh Pashmina in the Steam Age colorway. She is knitting it on size 6 needles. She is also knitting on the Barley hat from Tin Can Knits Simple Collection. She is using size 6 and 8 needles and is knitting it out of Knitting Boutique Patapsco in the Chocolate Bark colorway.
Leslie cast on new projects this week. Vanilla socks out of Blue Moon Fiber Arts in the Great Northwest colorway, two at a time on one circular needle. She also cast on the Cafe Macchiato socks by Marian Molden in “Thank You For Being A Friend” by Knitter’s Nightmare. She has finished the weaving portion of the skirt in the Kismet book we reviewed last week.
Laura has finished the Long Beanie by Woolly Wormhead using size 10 needles and Knitting Boutique Monocacy Yarn in the Carribean Waters colorway.
Leslie has finished the knitting part of her Delancey Cardigan by Alexis Winslow in Fat Squirrel Fibers Leslie Is A Lush and Medallion Red colorways.
Leslie has spun nothing this week
Laura has spun singles of Targhee from Hello Yarn in the Ahh The Vacuum! colorway. She has plied the Loop Loves Laura bump from Loop Fibers (430 yards) and a 6oz batt from a local vendor that had everything but the kitchen sink in it.
