Episode 182 – The More You Know

Episode 182

Laura has cast on a newborn size Baby Vertebrae out of some deep stash worsted on size 7 needles.  She has knit some on  a new hat design out of Green Mountain Spinery Wonderfully Wooly (this yarn appears to be discontinued, I’ve linked a similar product) on size 6 needles.  She has also cast on a pair of striping socks out of Yarn vs. Zombie Party Elephant on size 1 (2.25) needles.

Leslie is knitting on FrankenFingers by Elizabeth Green Mussleman out of Knitters Nightmare in the Tulips & Vegetables colorway.  She is also working on her Delancey Cardigan by Alexis Winslow in Fat Squirrel Fibers Leslie Is A Lush and Medallion Red colorways.

Laura has finished nothing

Leslie has finished on additional square for the Vivid blanket.  She also knit a pair of DK weight socks out of WoolBearers Kona Superwash in the Women’s Intuition colorway.

Leslie has spun nothing this week

Laura has finished Hello Yarn Superwash Merino in the Hot Stuff colorway (around 400 yards)

Episode 181 – Kamikaze Earbuds

Episode 181

Laura has cast on a newborn size Baby Vertebrae out of some deep stash worsted on size 7 needles.

Leslie is knitting on some plain vanilla socks in the FishKnits Intentional Flashing yarn base, colorway Pretty Bird.

Laura has finished a pair of socks out of Yarntini sport in the Home colorway.  They were knit on size 2 needles.  She has also finished an Aviatrix Hat in the newborn dk size out of some Gnome Acres handspun in the Franklin colorway.  She also finished some Baby Bell Bottoms out of some Cascade Cotton.

Leslie has finished a modified version of Shawl That Jazz in Dragonfly Fibers Pixie in the Starry Night Colorway.  She also finished the Miranda sweater out of some deep deep stash, John Q Natures Touch New Zealand Aran Wool.  She has knit 3 more squares for the Vivid Blanket.

Leslie has spun nothing this week

Laura is doing project zero on her bobbins and has plyed an Into the Whirled Falkland batt in the Just Figs colorway (220 yards of a N-ply) and Southern Cross Fibre Polwarth in the Antartica coloway (475 yards).

Episode 180 – Eel Bait

Episode 180

Laura has knit on a pair of socks out out Yarntini sport in the Home colorway. They are being knit on size 2 needles.   She has resumed working on Autumn Ablaze out of Abstract Fibers for the LaLa’s Knits group kal.

Leslie is knitting on some plain vanilla socks in the FishKnits Intentional Flashing yarn base, colorway Pretty Bird. Laura has finished the  Maine Morning Mitts out of Hobbledehoy handspun.

Leslie has finished the Miranda sweater out of some deep deep stash, John Q Natures Touch New Zealand Aran Wool.  Leslie has finished a modified version of Shawl That Jazz in Dragonfly Fibers Pixie in the Starry Night Colorway.

Episode 179 – Redux

Laura has cast on some Maine Morning Mitts out of Hobbledehoy handspun. She has cast on a pair of socks out out Yarntini sport in the Home colorway.
