Holiday Mayhem Giveaway

Because of all the Holiday mayhem this week, Leslie and I are having a hard time getting our schedules to mesh.  So instead of the regular podcast, we’re going vintage (in terms of this site) and writing a blog post.  We figured this may tide you over until we get up an episode later in the week (plus it gives me a chance to play with my camera).

We wanted to start out by giving away a skein of the lovely Pathways Sock from Lost City Knits.  We had a contest thread in theknitgirllls group on Ravely and over 200 people entered!  Here’s a picture of the lovely prize:

Pathways SockAnd the Random Number Generator selected number 64.  Number 64 is the wonderful Ermillina who posted the cutest pictures of silly time with her and her boys. Ermillina, please contact me on ravely (LaLa) with your address and I will mail out your prize!

I’m also happy to announce that Chris and Denise of Lost City Knits gave us a skein of their luscious Twin Canyon Fingering yarn in the Turbulence colorway to share with y’all.  Twin Canyon is a fingering weight yarn that has 500 yards with a content of 50%silk and 50% merino.  The sheen on it is gorgeous as is the feel.

The contest for this prize will take place in theknitgirllls Ravelry group.  There will be a thread entitled, Lost City Knits Turbulence.  Please be a member of our group and post in that thread answering the following prompt, What is the prefect yarn?  You can talk about fiber content, weight, color, anything that is about the topic.  Happy contest entering!  We will see y’all later in the week!
