Episode 124 – I Want My Hat Back

 

Laura is knitting on a  shop sample for Hank of Yarn out of Fibre Company Road to China Light.  The hat pattern is En Blekksprut.   She is also working on 2 pairs of toe up socks.  The first is on size 1.5 needles out of Opal in the Van Gogh series yarn, Night Cafe.  The second is on size 1.5 needles out of Gothsocks in the “Fire Bad, Tree Pretty” colorway.

Leslie is working on striped socks out of Friday Studios in the “Leslie Special” colorway on size 2.25mm needles  She has also resumed working on Evenstar, and is at 23 edging repeats out of the needed 56.  She has also swatched for the Uma sweater out of Aimee yarn

Laura has finished some heartfelt rings out of deep stash, Rowan Donegal brights.

Leslie has finished My Hope

Laura has spun some tri-color BFL from Frabjous Fibers (8oz=730 yards) and is working on Viola in the Mauve Marauder colorway 50/50 merino/silk.

Leslie is spinning a Loop batt, Smitten, on the sidekick with Woolee Winder.  She hasn’t touched it since recording.

Episode 123 – Fashionably Late

Leslie is working on My Hope, out of Sunshine yarns in the Geode colorway 3.75mm needles.  She has also resumed working on Evenstar, and is at 19 edging repeats out of the needed 56.

Laura has finished Hyla Brook on size 5 needles out of some handspun Loop fiber.  She also finished the 2 at a time socks out of Waltzing Matilda Perfect Day Yarns (no longer dyeing) in her Sonnet sport on size 3 needles.

Leslie has finished NADA

Laura has spun some polwarth from Dyeing Arts in the Absinthe colorway (350 yards of a 2-ply).  She is now spinning some tri-color BFL from Frabjous Fibers (8oz) and the Sanibel Stoop colorway on Polwarth from Unwind Yarn Company.

Leslie is spinning a Loop batt, Smitten, on the sidekick with Woolee Winder.  She hasn’t touched it since recording.

Episode 122 – The One With Life Noises

Laura is knitting on a 2 at a time socks out of Waltzing Matilda Perfect Day Yarns (no longer dyeing) in her Sonnet sport on size 3 needles (sweet tomato heel video).  She has also started a shop sample for Hank of Yarn out of Fibre Company Road to China Light.  The hat pattern is En Blekksprut.   She is also working on Hyla Brook on size 5 needles out of some handspun Loop fiber.

Laura has finished her last Camp Loopy project with a
Rondure Shawl on size 4 needles using Madtosh light in Cherry and Composition Book Gray.  The third shawl she finished is her Piper’s Journey out of Tempted Luxe Grrl in the Storm Front colorway on size 6 needles.  She also has finished a Lizard Lattice Afghan square out of Dream in Color Classy.

Leslie has finished Moonshine Fiber Company Robot Unicorn attack socks, 2.25mm needles, plain top down with eye of partridge heel.

Episode 121 – Growing Pains

Laura is knitting on a 2 at a time socks out of Waltzing Matilda Perfect Day Yarns (no longer dying) in her Sonnet sport on size 3 needles.  She is also finishing out her last Camp Loopy project with a
Rondure Shawl on size 4 needles using Madtosh light in Cherry and Composition Book Gray

Leslie is working on
Moonshine Fiber Company Robot Unicorn attack socks, 2.25mm needles, plain top down with eye of partridge heel.  She also has on the needles My Hope, out of Sunshine yarns in the Geode colorway 3.75mm needles

Laura has finished mini socks for sock the vote using random bits of leftovers and size 1.5 needles.  Patterns were tiny sock ornament and textured tootsies.

Leslie has finished wee baby sock for sock the vote, ribbed baby sock on size 8 needles
Hitchhiker by Martina Behm has been done, knit from handspun Woolgatherings Fiber in BFL.

Laura is spinning on a commission piece but hasn’t asked for permission to talk about it.
She has finished the moonshine Jungle Juice and has 300 yards of a 2-ply.  I’m thinking Susie’s Reading Mitts.

Leslie has spun Captain Tightpants, ITW Rambouillet fiber, 490 yards from 4oz  it barber poled wonderfully
Leslie also spun Fibernymph “Further Up and further out” colorway.  380 yards from 4oz
