Leslie is working on the Directions top out of Oink Pigments DK weight linen/silk this week but worked a bit on the Painting Bricks shawl by Stephen West using a kit from Whimzee Stitches.  She’s also working on a pair of socks out of Woolens & Nosh in the  Cornucopia colorway, and cast on for the Pressed Flowers cardigan by Amy Christoffers out of Berroco Remix Light and Noro Yukata and She started a temperature crochet blanket because she is not immune to peer pressure. 

Laura  has also started a Stripy Unicorn sweater out of handspun (more about that below) and woolen sport from Round Barn Fiber Mill.   Laura is working on a pair of toe up socks (60 stitches on size 0s) out of Geektastic’s Island of Misfit Toys colorway. 

Laura finished repairing a sweater – the Beachcomb by Tif Neilan.

Leslie finished nothing.

Leslie is still spinning the 24oz of custom blended fiber she got in a trade with HipStrings. She finished the first 8oz. 

Laura is working on a mash up spin using various Hello Yarn deep stash for Mystic square.  This will be a three ply.  She also started a woolen spun project out of a cormo/bfl/cheviot blend from Hill Heritage Farm.  She has all the spinning plans for Jillian Moreno’s 100 day spin down. She has been spindle  spinning knit spin farms advent. 

Leslie is relistening to 14 by Peter Clines and reading The Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo.

Laura is now listening to The Mona Lisa Vanishes.

Laura started some baby mittens in the 0-6 month size in Old Rusted Chair IJLTYF colorway.  These are knit on size 5 and size 2 dpns.

Leslie finished the Brighter Days hat by SweaterFreak out of Republica Unicornia. She also finished the weaving for an 11yd warp but is still working on the finishing. 

Laura finished an elf baby hat out of handspun leftovers

It is 300 yards of a high twist 2-ply.   She is also spun falkland in the Herding Cats by Into the Whirled for Stripy Unicorn by Jojoi (1,000 yards of a 2-ply sport weight).  She started a mash up spin using various Hello Yarn deep stash for Mystic square.  This will be a three ply.  She also started a woolen spun project out of a cormo/bfl/cheviot blend from Hill Heritage Farm.  She has all the spinning plans for Jillian Moreno’s 100 day spin down. She has been spindle  spinning knit spin farms advent.

Leslie is listening to Discworld, starting with book 1 The Colour of Magic by Terry Pratchett.  She’s relistening to the Illuminae Files by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. 

Laura is listening Fourth Wing. She finished the sequel to Hunt the Stars (sci fi adult), Eclipse the Moon.   She is rereading all the Sinner’s Gin books by Rhys Ford before the new one comes out this month.
