Ep634 – Toad & Node

Leslie is working on the Edgartown Light by Alicia Plummer out of some linen gifted at SSK 2022. She cast on for the Directions top out of Oink Pigments DK weight linen/silk. She’s also working on a pair of socks out of Woolens & Nosh in the Cornucopia colorway 

Laura has been working on all the handspun socks using Hipstrings 50% Southdown wool, 25% Dorset Horn Wool, 25% Bionylon.  She is plotting her frog and node sweater. 

Leslie finished Halfway  by Jamie Hoffman out of Hipstrings and a Vneck Boxy by Joji Locatelli out of Green Mountain Spinnery cotton comfort dk.  

Leslie is listening to the Handsome podcast with Fortune Feimster, Tig Notaro, and Mae Martin.  She’s relistening to Paladin’s Grace by T. Kingfisher

Ep633 – Worn & Washed

Leslie is working on a Halfway  by Jamie Hoffman out of Hipstrings. She picked up the Edgartown Light by Alicia Plummer out of some linen gifted at SSK 2023. She worked on a Vneck Boxy by Joji Locatelli out of Green Mountain Spinnery cotton comfort dk.  

Laura has been working on all the handspun socks using Hipstrings 50% Southdown wool, 25% Dorset Horn Wool, 25% Bionylon

Leslie has been playing with pin looms from BlueBonnet Crafters.  She’s also been working on a ‘Crazy Pigs’ quilt kit from Rachel’s of Greenfield that a friend found at a local goodwill.

Laura finished  a pair of socks out of Woolens and Nosh Halloween Costumes on the targhee base.

Laura is spinning a pain of cable ply sock yarn out of Hipstrings in Advanced Marriage Counseling.

Ep632 – Complication of Unicorns

Leslie is working on a pair of socks out of Woolens & Nosh in the Cornucopia colorway as well as a Halfway  by Jamie Hoffman out of Hipstrings. She picked up the Edgartown Light by Alicia Plummer out of some linen gifted at SSK 2023. She worked on a Vneck Boxy by Joji Locatelli out of Green Mountain Spinnery cotton comfort dk.  

Laura has picked back up her Floodlight Tee out of Oink Pingments. She also cast on a pair of socks out of Woolens and Nosh Halloween Costumes on the targhee base.  She also cast on the Haunted House mkal by Tellybean knits.  She is using size 3 needles and a variety of minis from Miss babs and Leading men fiber arts. She also cast on the puffs cuffs by shanalines designes. She is using handspun and size 3 and 2 needles.  

Leslie learned EPP (English Paper Piecing) from Malia and AmyBeth and is working on a piece that will become a clock. She also has been playing with pin looms from BlueBonnet Crafters

Laura finished nothing.

Leslie is reading Complication of Unicorns by Kim Watt and is relistening to The Wise Man’s Fear by Patrick Rothfuss
