Leslie is working on her  Men Brial out of Why Knot in the Spunky base and is working on the left front. She’s close to finishing Advent 2020 sweater by Heleen’s Knithouse using a Suburban Stitcher Advent kit and still knitting on a pair of socks out of Woolens & Nosh using US 1.5 needles and 72 stitches

Laura has knit on a pair of socks using opal yarn and size 00 needles. She is working over 60 stitches. She has also cast on the G8t Gingham hat by Jessie Maed out of some stash yarn and handspun. Laura has cast on for the Carbeth Cardigan out of Germantown Bulky.  She is having to go down to a size 7 and 8 needles.

Leslie finished Peter from Sophia’s Duck Collection, picked up in a shop in Scotland.

Laura finished some Hello Yarn BFL in the Pink Treacle colorway.  She spun it long draw and has 2700 yards of a 2-ply. She is also spinning a marled sock yarn out of Wound up fiber arts mini pack.

Leslie is relistening to Tell Me Its Real by TJ Klune (M/m modern romance) and Bury Your Gays by Chuck Tingle (fantasy horror). She finished God’s Junk Drawer by Peter Clines and The King In Yellow by Robert Chambers. She started Confessions of a Trash Droid (sci-fi)

Laura has been fixated on hockey.  She’s been watching the Penguins play and reading Long Game by Rachel Reid (adult m/m sports romance) She also read the whole Him series by Elle Kennedy and Sarina Bowen (adult m/m).

She has finished assembly of the Jethro Cardigan by Tanis Lavalle  and knit garter stitch hem and button band, and is working on the final sleeve.  She also picked up her  Men Brial out of Why Knot in the Spunky base and is about to pick up stitches for the front.

Leslie finished spinning the singles of Hipstrings “Farmer’s Market” colorway but has not yet plied.

Laura has finished the Hipstrings Influencer (75% sw merion, 12.5% Sari Silk, 12.5% Trilobal Rainbow Nylon) for the Hipstrings along (1,000 yards of a 3-ply, worsted weight). She also finished some tweed singles, Rambo/Silk singles, and Zebra Merino from Kim Dyes Yarn She also started spinning some Hipstrings on the new Daedalus Dove and some inglenook silk/flax for the Ply Spinners Guild along.

Laura has been having a lovely time visiting with family.  She finished Role Model by Rachel Reid (adult m/m hockey romance) on the way home
