Leslie is working on Camino Bubbles out of LMFA King Max colorway and cast on for Ursa Canis out of Mission Falls wool (from Laura’s deep stash).  She’s also working on another cross stitch – best part of the job and a PinCushion basket from Etsy

 Laura is working on the Beachcomb by Tif Neilan  She will be using handspun for the main color. She started a pair of plain socks out of Knitpicks Felici in the spooky colorway. She also cast on for the Gnome MKAL #7 – All work gnome play  She has also cast on Enve by Wooly Wormhead out of Fully Spun Original Aran in Cherry Blossom

Leslie finished two pincushions – Pig (rat?) pincushion from Cut Loose Press and Pincushion and Sewing Clip Caddy from SheSaysSewPatterns.

Laura did not finish anything this week.

Laura has been spinning on some patchwork kits from Hello Yarn to eventually knit into a Flax Light by Tincanknits.  She also has been spinning Kim Dyes Yarn Good Days on Targhee on the Sparrow.

Leslie is reading His Fairy Share: A Starfig Investigations novel by Meghan Maslow. She’s currently listening to The Wizard’s Butler by Nathan Howell and What We Don’t Talk About When We Talk About Fat by Aubrey Gordon and Infinite by Jeremy Robinson.

Laura has finished the V-neck Magpie out of Hello Yarn handspun on size 9 and 10 needles. She also finished the knitting on the Pixie Powered Super Bulky Hat Kit from Un Besito Fibers.  She  knit  it on a 10.5 needle.

Leslie is re-reading the Leveling Up Series by KF Breene (m/f paranormal romance – currently on book 5 Magical Midlife Meeting) as well as the short story collection Imago Sequence by Laird Barron (cosmic horror).  She’s relistening to Junkyard Cats by Faith Hunter (Shining Smith series) so she can listen to the second book which came out this year and an audible original by Angella Dravid – Love, Rock Bottom and Other Triumphs.

Laura has been reading a new graphic novel version of the Choose Your Own Adventure books.
