Leslie has been crocheting squares for a Cherry Heart/Sandra Paul pattern called Giant Granny Patches. Each one is around 12 yds/11 meters and she’s using Loops & Threads acrylic yarn Impeccable.  She worked on the Hasukai cowl out of Brooklyn Tweed Plains in Treehouse and  Shadow Lines by Suzanne Sommer out of Triskelion Olwen Fine.

Laura has been knitting on  a Bounce Blanket out of Neighborhood Fiber Co in Studio DK Belair and Shades of Turqouise.  She has also picked up a pair of Socks on a Plane using Long Dog Yarn.  These socks are magic looped on size 0s. 

Laura knit  Flax Light out of Urban Girl Yarns Sunday Love on size 2.5 needles. She used Vesper/Knitterly Things for the rainbow around the chest.

Leslie finished around 25 squares for a blanket +275 meters SD2020. She also sewed a Metamorphic Dress in size 24, and embroidered the pockets and finished a small embroidery piece from the cozyblue embroidery club

Laura has finished plying 3 Into the Whirled spins. All are 2-plys.  The first is Unobtainium on Polwarth.  It is 300 yards.  The second is Equilibrium on BFL.  It is a total of 400 yards.  The 3rd is The Empty Child on Romney.  It is 200 yards.

Leslie is currently reading the Alice Worth series (paranormal fantasy, m/f) and is on book 2 Heart of Fire.  She listened to The First Girl Child by Amy Harmon (“viking historical romance” m/f) and is listening to the first Harry Dresden book Storm Front

Laura finished  Little Vest by Lisa Chemery out of Another Crafty Girl’s Pound Puppies colorway on size 7 needles.  Buttons will be pawprints and will arrive tomorrow.

Leslie finished around 75 squares for a blanket +825 meters SD2020. She also put in heels/toes/folded cuffs in a pair of cranked tubes – colorway Peace Be Upon You by Quaere Fibers +50meters SD2020.  She also sewed a couple dozen masks using the free pattern from free-sewing.org and CynthiaFrenette Fabric from Spoonflower and Selfie Cats from Timeless Treasures – sold out forever but some on ebay here

Laura has finished plying the ITW Corridale in the Gilmore’s Glorious Goods colorway.  It was a true three-ply and is 150 yards.  She also finished plying a falkland batt from Into the Whirled in Vampires of Venice.  It is 220 yards of a chain ply.  She has spun singles of Into the Whirled in the Unobtainium colorway on Polwarth.  She has also been working on her Rambo mash up spin out of Hello Yarn from 2014.

Leslie did some corespinning – about 70 yards of a KnitSpinFarm batt over a mohair core. +64 meters SD2020

Leslie is currently reading The Wizard’s Butler by Nathan Lowell (Paranormal/Urban Fantasy) and Rise of the Iliri by Auryn Hadley (female warrior sci-fi with reverse harem).  She’s been relistening to m/m football books: The Blueprint & A Deeper Blue by S.E. Harmon and Illegal Contact by Santino Hassell (no longer available on Audible it seems)

Laura has finished plying the Polwarth from Neighborhood Fiber Co in the Pride gradient. It was 325 yards of a 2-ply and spun end to end flipped.  She also spun Into the Whirled Shenanigans. It is 260 yards of a 2-ply yarn.

Leslie did some corespinning.
