Leslie is knitting on Miranda by Josee Paquin out of LMFA Box Office in the Spiced Apple Cider colorway.  She’s also been crocheting a crap ton of squares for a Cherry Heart/Sandra Paul pattern called Giant Granny Patches.

Laura is knitting  on a sock using size 1 needles and Knit Spin Farm Targhee sport in the “wear something gaudy day”  She also started a Habitation Throw by Helen Stewart out of her bumblebee acres advent set (Years One & Two).  She’s also working on putting heels & toes into sock tubes (cranked on the Erlbacher Gearhart Speedster) – tubes are out of Magic & Moonshine yarn in the “Somebody Ate My Ears” colorway.

Laura finished Catchall by Hunter Hammersen out of LMFA West End Worsted (pattern coming soon).  

Leslie finished Poet out of Biches and Buches yarn and a sockhead hat out of Cat Sandwich Fibers in Willie Nillie.  She also finished a pair of Knit Spin Farm sport weight socks.

Leslie spun and plied her Knit Spin Farm Advent Calendar and got 900+ yds of a 2ply.

Laura finished spinning her advent calendar from Knit Spin Farm and got 360yds of a 2ply. She plied Into The Whirled Cheviot “Adventuring Party” and got 180yds of a 3ply. 

Leslie is listening to Ravensong by TJ Klune. She’s reading The Last Sun by KD Edwards and Heart On Fire (kingmaker trilogy) by Amanda Bouchet. 

Laura is listening to Tristan Strong Punches a Hole in the Sky by Kwame Mbalia.  She’s reading Water Viper by RJ Blain. She’s also been playing catchup and listening to the KnitmoreGirls

Laura finished 3 charity hats.  They are Super Simple Slouch Hat, Chunky Beanie, and No Worries  All 3 used Lion Brand Thick and Quick Stripes.  Most used a size 10.5 needle. Laura also finished a Spectrum shawl using some handspun cormo from Bumblebee Acres and some handspun from Hello Yarn.    It was knit on size 4 needles.

Leslie finished nothing

Laura is currently spinning her last two Into the Whirled clubs.  They are 404-Name Not Found on Falkland and Adventuring Party on Cheviot.  They both are being spun on the Lendrum upright. 404 is a true 2-ply and Adventuring party is a three ply that was chunked without repeats of colors.

Leslie hasn’t spun this week but is angry that Wheezy gave away the amazing ass-cat tissue dispenser

Leslie is listening to Sleeping Beauties by Stephen & Owen King and reading The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern and A Head Full of Ghosts by Paul Tremblay.  She’s also been listening to Fate’s Edge by Ilona Andrews

Laura cast on a Spectrum shawl using some handspun cormo from Bumblebee Acres and some handspun from Hello Yarn.    It is being knit on size 4 needles. Laura cast on some toe up socks (Wendy Johnson method) using Knit Spin Farm Targhee sport in the National Creamsicle Day colorway. They are being knit on size 1 needles (2.25) using 52 stitches.  She also cast on a Christmas Stocking by Faye Kennington that will be based off of this one.  She is using an unknown white yarn from the stash, and Leading Men Fiber Arts in their West End Worsted base in the Poison Apple and All the Way to the Bank colorways.

Laura finished a charity hat but forgot it.

Leslie finished Easy Baby Socks on Two Needles out of Malabrigo superwash worsted. She also finished using loopity loop yarn you see at all the big box craft stores for a simple baby blanket.

Laura is currently spinning a giant mash up project using Hello Yarn in various coloways on Rambo.  Her first skein of 9.3 oz of a 3-ply is 1029 yards pre wash measurement. She expects to loose a bit to puff.

Leslie plied some wool/silk from Yarn Hollow in Devil’s Daughter colorway for 150 yards.
