Leslie is knitting Poet out of Biches and Buches yarn and a sockhead hat out of Cat Sandwich Fibers in Willie Nillie.  She’s swatching for Almond Tee out of Loop!Yin Yang Fingering in the Body & Soul colorways. She is also trying out the loopity loop yarn you see at all the big box craft stores for a simple baby blanket.  She cast on for a second Miranda by Josee Paquin out of Leading Men Fiber Arts Box Office Worsted in Spiced Apple Cider

Laura cast on a Spectrum shawl using some handspun cormo from Bumblebee Acres and some handspun from Hello Yarn.    It is being knit on size 4 needles. Laura cast on some toe up socks (Wendy Johnson method) using Knit Spin Farm Tarrghee sport in the National Creamsicle Day colorway. They are being knit on size 1 needles (2.25) using 52 stitches.  She also cast on a Christmas Stocking by Faye Kennington that will be based off of this one.  She is using an unknown white yarn from the stash, and Leading Men Fiber Arts in their West End Worsted base in the Poison Apple and All the Way to the Bank colorways.

Laura finished some toe up socks using String theory Colorworks.  She used the Wendy Johnson heel.

Leslie finished Easy Baby Socks on Two Needles out of Malabrigo superwash worsted.

Laura is currently spinning a giant mash up project using Hello Yarn in various coloways on Rambo.  Her first skein of 9.3 oz of a 3-ply is 1029 yards pre wash measurement. She expects to loose a bit to puff.

Leslie did not spin this week.

Laura finished reading Strange Birds  She is about to start Ninth House.

Leslie is knitting Poet out of Biches and Buches yarn and working on crocheting some granny squares for a Cherry Heart/Sandra Paul pattern called Giant Granny Patches.

Laura cast on a Spectrum shawl using some handspun cormo from Bumblebee Acres and some handspun from Hello Yarn.   She also is knitting on a sock using KnitSpinFarm’s Targhee Sport in the National Soup Month colorway on size 1 needles.  Laura is also knitting on a flo bonnet out of the judgey rabbit colorway of Teeny Button Studio on her dk base.  It is being knit on size 6 needles. Laura also cast on a baby hat out of handspun from Southern Cross Fibre on size 6 needles.

Leslie finished nothing

Laura finished plying 3 yarns.  The first is a 50/50 yak/merino blend from Ewephoric Fibers. It was 210 yards of a 2-ply spun worsted on the matchless. She also finished a cormo/alpaca blend (also 50/50).  This was 3 oz of roving and became 352 yards of a 2-ply. It was spun worsted on the ladybug. The third yard she finished was spun woolen on the Matchless. It was a batt from ewephoric fibers and is 192 yards of a 3-ply.
