Leslie is working on a Lounging Top by Joji Locatelli in Rock & String sport Toasted Marshmallow, an Inverleith by Ysolda Teague out of Ysolda’s Sedum, and an Il Grande Favorito by Isabell Kramer out of some local wool I bought in NJ.  She also started a ripple crochet blanket out of Caron Chunky cakes.

Jess is knitting a pair of socks out of Lollipop Yarn in the Fussbudget colorway.  She’s also working on a beginner brioche cowl by Lavanya Patricella out of Madtosh bulky.  Also True Colors by Melanie Berg out of Manos Fino.

Laura is knitting on a pair of toe up socks using Desert Vista Dyeworks in the color accents series.   She has been cranking tubes on her Circular Sock Machine (Erlbacher Gearheart Speedster).  She also is working on Stevie on size 6 needles using berroco remix in color 3991.  Laura is starting to swatch for Mount Pleasant out of Leading Men Fiber Arts yarn  She is going to use the newborn size of the Barley light pattern to test gauge.

Laura has finished a basic baby hat out of another crafty girl

Leslie spun 2 mini batts HipStrings and got ~530yds of a 2 ply.  It’s a little worse for wear after being plied in the wrong direction. (later fixed)

Laura is spinning happy happy thank you in bfl from Hello Yarn. She finished the singles and is now spinning some Knit spin farm battlings.

Leslie is re-reading the Night Circus.

Laura has picked up New Kid to read.

Leslie is knitting Weekender by Andrea Mowry out of Cloudborn Pima Cotton DK.  She is also working on a Lounging Top by Joji Locatelli in Rock & String sport Toasted Marshmallow, an Inverleith by Ysolda Teague out of Ysolda’s Sedum, and an Il Grande Favorito by Isabell Kramer out of some local wool I bought in NJ.

Laura has finished a wee morrie and dk entrechat out of lolabean in queen bean.

Leslie spun 2oz of a batt from HipStrings and is plying it. For the second time.

Leslie is listening to Diamond Fire, 4th in the Hidden Legacy series by Ilona Andrews. She read Wed by Proxy by Alice Coldbreath.

Leslie is knitting Weekender by Andrea Mowry out of Cloudborn Pima Cotton DK.  She cast on for a Lounging Top in Rock & String sport Toasted Marshmallow.

She also pulled out Evenstar and knit a few rounds.  This is knit out of handspun on size 3 needles.

Laura has finished a pair of Rose City Rollers out of Knitpicks Felici in the Dark Side colorway. Size 0 needles. She also finished 2 other pairs of socks.  The first is a pair of Non Ecludians in Desert Vista Dyeworks in the Downfall colorway for AEhull. The second was a pair of hemmed afterthought tubes. She used Undead Yarn Company and some scraps from Amy Florence.   She also finished a V Neck Boxy in Yin Yang fingering weight Loop! Colorway Kiss. 

Leslie spun 2oz of a batt from HipStrings

Laura continues spinning 2 lb CVM spin in soft grey from Peeper Hollow Farm. She spun 200 yards of marled singles from Into the Whirled.  She also spun a 2-ply in the Rumplestilskin colorway from Spotted Circus Alpacas (390 yards). She also spun Unicprn Magic by Hipstrings (185 yards of a 2-ply).  And lastly 490 yards of a 2-ply out of Dive (Falkland Polwarth) by Hello Yarn.

Leslie is reading Sweep of the Blade by Ilona Andrews.

Laura is listening to an Ilona Andrews short in prep for the new book in August.
