Leslie is working on her  Men Brial out of Why Knot in the Spunky base and is working on the left front and a pair of socks out of Woolens & Nosh using US 1.5 needles and 72 stitches

Laura has knit on a pair of socks using opal yarn and size 00 needles. She is working over 60 stitches. She has also cast on the G8t Gingham hat by Jessie Maed out of some stash yarn and handspun. Laura has cast on for the Carbeth Cardigan out of Germantown Bulky.  She is having to go down to a size 7 and 8 needles.

Laura is spinning some inglenook silk/flax for the Ply Spinners Guild along. She plied her Kim Dyes Yarn Tweed 2-ply (525 yards). 

Leslie is relistening to Tell Me Its Real by TJ Klune (M/m modern romance) and Bury Your Gays by Chuck Tingle (fantasy horror). She’s reading God’s Junk Drawer by Peter Clines and The King In Yellow by Robert Chambers.

Laura has been fixated on hockey.  She’s been watching the Penguins play and reading Time to Shine by Rachel Reid (adult m/m sports romance) She also read the whole hockey ever after series (7 adult m/m romance) by Ashley Kane.

Leslie is working on Advent 2020 sweater by Heleen’s Knithouse using a Suburban Stitcher Advent kit. She also picked up her  Men Brial out of Why Knot in the Spunky base and is working on the left front.  She cast on a pair of socks out of Woolens & Nosh using US 1.5 needles and 72 stitches

She has finished assembly of the Jethro Cardigan by Tanis Lavalle  and knit garter stitch hem and button band, and is working on the final sleeve.  She also picked up her  Men Brial out of Why Knot in the Spunky base and is about to pick up stitches for the front.

Leslie finished spinning the singles of Hipstrings “Farmer’s Market” colorway but has not yet plied.

Laura has finished the Hipstrings Influencer (75% sw merion, 12.5% Sari Silk, 12.5% Trilobal Rainbow Nylon) for the Hipstrings along (1,000 yards of a 3-ply, worsted weight). She also finished some tweed singles, Rambo/Silk singles, and Zebra Merino from Kim Dyes Yarn She also started spinning some Hipstrings on the new Daedalus Dove and some inglenook silk/flax for the Ply Spinners Guild along.

Leslie is listening to There Is No Antimemetics Division by qntm (horror, technothriller, sci-fi) and Bury Your Gays by Chuck Tingle (fantasy). 

Laura has been having a lovely time visiting with family.  She finished Role Model by Rachel Reid (adult m/m hockey romance) on the way home

Leslie started spinning Hipstrings “Farmer’s Market” colorway. She’s also doing the Taskmaster Advent Calendar.

Laura has finished the singles Hipstrings Influencer (75% sw merion, 12.5% Sari Silk, 12.5% Trilobal Rainbow Nylon) for the Hipstrings along. She is planning on spinning a 3-ply from the 24 oz she has and making a sweater from the finished yarn. She is also sampling on a new spindle from batty fibers. She finished the 2022/23 advent from inglenook and started Hipstrings Base 12.  She also started spinning some Hipstrings on the new Daedalus Dove and some inglenook silk/flax for the Ply Spinners Guild along.

Leslie is still listening to Somewhere Beyond The Sea by TJ Klune (m/m romance fantasy) and Bury Your Gays by Chuck Tingle (fantasy). 

Laura is watching Game of Wool, hockey and heated rivalry. She organized her 2026 plans for knitting.
