Leslie is knitting the Shisui Shrug by Suzanne Somer out of Leading Men Fiber Arts in the colors “great sweater debate” and “minty fresh”.  She swatched for Cypress by Jared Flood in Queensland Kathmandu Aran and for Jord lace vest out of Harrisville Designs Turbine in Gatehouse.

Laura is knitting socks. They are out of TurtlePurl Yarns in the “Aim to Misbehave” colorway.  She’s also knitting on the Marshmallow Mitts from the Great White North ebook by Tin Can Knits.  She is using some 3-ply handspun out of a batt from KnitSpinFarm.  She is also knitting the snowman from the Wicked Chickens holiday kit.

Leslie finished a pair of socks out of Simply Sock yarn Poste in the Holiday, FL.

Laura finished a pair of tube socks for Julia out of Dashing Dachs Sportweight in the Poison Apple colorway.  These were knit from the toe up (cast on 16 total stitches and increase to 48, knit 8.5 inches then do 2 inches of 2×2 ribbing).  She also finished a handspun boomerang out of Knit Spin Farm Unicorn batt (2 ply woolen spun).

Laura’s been working on her Advent Spins from her calendar from Barber Black Sheep.  She is also spinning on some Ramboulette from Hello Yarn in the Breathless Air colorway.

Leslie is still reading the Dowser Series. She’s listening to The Way of Kings.
