Leslie is working on Quynn from Woolly Wormhead out of some Malabrigo Rios worsted. She also made progress on an old WIP – Winchester Plaid, Anti-Posession Mittens out of Brooklyn Tweed. She cast on for Brioche Adventure by Jonatan Tallow out of last year’s HipStrings advent.
Laura is working on a pair of plain socks out of Must Stash Yarns in the Hawaii Volcanoes colorway. She also started the Out of Winter shawl by TamyGore. She is using size 6 needles and knitting it out of some Koomasee BFL that she spun.
Leslie finished a Quynn from Woolly Wormhead out of some Malabrigo Rios worsted, a simple cuffed hat from PurlSoho out of Wollmeise DK, and another Quynn hat out of red worsted from Woolbearers. She sewed two pairs of pj pants for Becca’s boys
Laura finished the Beachcomb by Tif Neilan She also finished some Big Mountain hats by Faye Kennington out of various colors of Miss Babs K2. These were knit on size 10 and 10.5 needles. She also finished a pair of Mother Slippers by Qing Fibre. Laura also finished the Free Breakfast by Emily Philip out of Shipwrecked Sheep sport weight in the Hatchling colorway
Laura has been spinning on some patchwork kits from Hello Yarn to eventually knit into a Flax Light by Tincanknits. Laura has begun spinning some Polwarth from Into the Whirled in the Plausible Impossibility colorway.
Leslie read Stranger Times by CK McDonnell (urban fantasy/mystery). She has been binging Maintenance Phase with Aubrey Gordon (Your Fat Friend) and Michael Hobbes (You’re Wrong About)
Laura has been reading Daughter of the Deep by Rick Riordan (middle grade/lower YA version of 2,000 leagues under the sea).
