Ep558 – 10 Years and Ten Days

Leslie made progress on Solstice by Tricot design MCL out of Loop Yin Yang in the Body and Soul colorways.  She also pulled Chance of Showers out of SundayKnits Eden 3 ply  out of time-out and is almost finished with the hem.

 Laura  is working on the Out of Winter shawl by TamyGore.  She is using size 6 needles and knitting it out of some Koomasee BFL that she spun.  She also knit on a pair of Knit Spin Farm Targhee Sport Weight socks in Deep Woods Solstice Celebration on size 1 needles.  She has also cast on the Clove and Twine Toque out of Suri Silk from Suburban Stitcher in the Lady Bird colorway and some deep stash circa 2008.

Leslie made labels for needle storage as well as labels for storage drawers. 

Laura finished 2 Quynn hats by Woolly Wormhead.  One is out of Shirsty Cat Designs Just the Worsty in the Lusty colorway.  The other is out of some old handspun held double.  Both were knit on size 6 needles.  

Laura plyed some polwarth from Into the Whirled in the Plausible Impossibility (160 yards of a 3-ply).  She dug out some old singles from Fiberoptic and finished them. She also spun Wee Chickadee in the Old Pine colorway on Corriedale.

Leslie is reading the Saint of Steel series by T. Kingfisher.  She is re-watching Taskmaster and trying a couple of new shows.

Laura has been reading the young adult version of Killers of the Flower Moon (narrative nonfiction)
