Leslie is working on Chance of Showers out of SundayKnits Eden 3 ply , a pair of sport weight socks out of String Theory Orbit in the Resistor colorway, and a sashiko panel

 Laura has  been knitting on some toe up socks out of Knit Spin Farm in the World Plant a Vegetable Garden Day colorway.  She also resumed working on her McWheely cowl which is knit in the round.   She also started some sock tube socks out of Into the Whirled Speckle Dyed Pakokku sock in the Handbags at Dawn colorway. Laura is working on the Harvest sweater out of Camellia Fiber Company Pepper worsted.  She also spun and started knitting a hat out of a sample of Hello Yarn patchwork kits.

Leslie finished  a Granny Goes Large crochet blanket out of Stylecraft DK. 6482 meters or 7089yds.

Laura has plied her KnitSpinFarm batts in the Hopeful Spring colorway.  These were 25% Shopshire, 75% falkland, and a smidge of silk and silk noil.  It is 400 yards of 2-ply spun woolen.

Leslie didn’t spin this week

Leslie is re-reading The Princess Knight by GA Aiken (fantasy m/f romance). 

She’s been listening to Wool and Shift by Hugh Howey (dystopian).  She’s been watching Would I Lie To You (british comedy panel series).

Laura has started listening to the Shadow and Bone (YA fantasy).  She has been rewatching the Queens of Mystery and My Life is Murder on Acorn 

Favorite Things

Leslie finished sewing the Otis Overalls.  Highly recommend AmyBeth’s video about the pattern.  Leslie also sewed a Woolfork dress with mixed results.

Leslie is working on a Granny Goes Large crochet blanket out of Stylecraft DK (2 colors left!)and is working on Chance of Showers out of SundayKnits Eden 3 ply

Laura finished her Knit Spin Farm socks  in the International Dark Sky Week colorway

Laura is spinning Into the Whirled “hold the line” on BFL (April club) on the Sparrow.  This will be a 3 ply.  She finished plying some 57 chapters BFL nylon (325 yards of a 3-ply), Hipstrings Narwhal Pool Party (350 yards of a 2-ply), GwynneSpins (377 yards of a chain ply), and ITW Wheelhouse on Jacob (350 yards of a 2-ply).

Leslie is reading Dark Wizard by Jeffe Kennedy (fantasy m/f romance). 

She’s been listening to We’ve Got Answers by Charlamagne Tha God and Broken (in the best possible way) by Jenny Lawson.  She’s been watching Would I Lie To You (british comedy panel series).

Laura has started listening the Shadow and Bone (YA fantasy)
