Ep654 – Half A Soul

Leslie has worked on the R&R Hoodie by Tanis Lavelle out of Leading Men Fiber Arts in the following colors: Just Peachy, Fortune Teller, London Fog, Bare Necessities, and Marauder. She’s knitting the sleeves using a brilliant steeking method that Heidi Kirrmaier demonstrates here

She’s also cast on a Musselburgh hat by Ysolda Teague out of YarnCafe Creations in the Ocean Mist colorway.

Laura is working on a pair of toe up socks (56 stitches on size 0s) out of Nomadic yarns in the everlasting gobstopper colorway.  She also cast on a Penta Pillar Pullover out of Knit Spin Farm batt handspun.  She has also started a recalibrate sweater out of handspun (merino/rose).  The fiber was from Southern Cross (no longer in business)

Leslie finished a brioche earflap hat out of Camelia Fibers and Republica Unicornia.

Laura  finished the knitting on her lollipop yarn afterthought heel socks.  She has also finished an emotional support chicken on size 3 needles out of Cascade yarns Hollywood.

Laura has plied Knits and Purls in the Wednesday and Enid colorway (400 yards) and a batt from KnitSpinfarm. She is trying to get a fleece washed, processed, spun, and knit this summer.  SUmmer of fleece!

Leslie is listening to the Eclipsed Evolution series by Kim Harrison and re-reading Half A Soul by Olivia Atwater.

Laura has been relistening to the Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs

About Leslie

Leslie is obsessed with knitting, and when possible, perfection in her knitting. All stripey socks must match exactly and all lace must be blocked severely. She has major love for all of her viewers/readers and hopes to keep blogging and podcasting for years to come.
