Ep689 – Unicorn Birthday Party

Leslie has worked on the Lace & Fade Boxy by Joji Locatelli out of a Miss Babs gradient kit in Beachcomber and Republica Unicornia Suri Alpaca in Unicorn Birthday Party. She cast on a Rikke hat out of old handspun from Moonrover (no longer in business).

  Laura is working on the Layla cardigan out of MDK atlas and Into the Whirled handspun. She has cast on a new pair of socks out of Nomadic Yarns in the Poolside colorway.  These use a BFL base and are knit on size 0 needles. Laura has also cast on the Bunny Tail hat by Susan B Anderson out of Cascade Hollywood (deep stash) and size 5 needles.

Leslie finished a Rikke hat out of Laura’s handspun

Laura finished the Traveler Cowl by Andrea Mowry out of Hipstrings Base 12 on size 3 needles.  She has finished a pair of socks out of Geektastic/Fandom Fibers  in the Trapper Keepers and Pencil Boxes colorway.  These are being knit on size 0 needles. 

Laura is currently spinning some Fossil Fibers in the Ents of War colorway. It is on BFL.   She also finished combing some Coopworth fleece.  Jillian Moreno’s Patreon

Leslie started spinning some Oink Pigments Polwarth/silk in the Does A Bear Knit In The Woods colorway.

Leslie has been relistening to Wee Free Men by Terry Pratchett. She finished Happy Fat by Sofia Hagen and started It’s Not Hysteria by Karen Tang and The Body Is Not An Apology by Sonya Renee Taylor.

Laura has reread lots of hockey romance by Rachel Reid and E.L. Massey
