Leslie is working on the Girlfriends Cardigan by Ankestrick out of Republica Unicornia (Cousin Minnie Pearl) and Jethro by Tanis Lavelle. She also worked on her Shakerag by Amy Christoffers out of Ito Kinu. She swatched for the Men Brial out of Why Knot in the Spunky base.
Laura has finished the first body of the footpath socks out of Woolens and Nosh (August club colorway) on size 0s. Laura has also started Look at My holes out of Kelbourne Woolens Mojave on size 8 needles Laura and Leslie both started a Sheep Locks Wreath by Kimberly K. McAlindin. L Laura has also started the Bright Axis Tee DK by Tellybeanknits using Woolens and Nosh DK and size 2.5 and 4 needles. Laura has started a Garter Earflap Hat in the kid size for a coworker out of Faboo Yarn Company in the Stormy Weather on the Confetti base.
Leslie is working on a Color Vortex LegitKit. LINK to FPP video – this made something click in my brain and now I almost never get it wrong!
Laura finished the knitting on the baby vertebrae worsted out of the left over ancient stash from her vest. She is knitting it on size 4 needles. She also finished and gave the baby pants.
Leslie didn’t spin this week.
Laura has spun some Hipstrings Influencer (75% sw merion, 12.5% Sari Silk, 12.5% Trilobal Rainbow Nylon) for the Hipstrings along. She is planning on spinning a 3-ply from the 24 oz she has and making a sweater from the finished yarn. She is also sampling on a new spindle from batty fibers.
Leslie has been relistening to The House on the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune. She also finished SnakeEater by T. Kingfisher and started Nine Goblins by T. Kingfisher.
Laura is rereading Winter Lost by Patricia Briggs (m/f adult urban fantasy). She is watching Sister Boniface, hockey, and dancing with the stars. She has started watching Game of Wool.
