Leslie made progress on Solstice by Tricot design MCL out of Loop Yin Yang in the Body and Soul colorways.  She also cast on this month’s KnitSpinFarm sock club “Inspire Your Heart with Art” on size US3 needles.  She’s also sewing a simple rope bowl.

 Laura  is working on the Out of Winter shawl by TamyGore.  She is using size 6 needles and knitting it out of some Koomasee BFL that she spun.  She also knit on a pair of Knit Spin Farm Targhee Sport Weight socks in Deep Woods Solstice Celebration on size 1 needles.  She has also knit on a foolproof out of some Hello Yarn patchwork kit handspun.

Leslie sewed an Allure Robe out of Bubble Gauze and it is now her favorite thing.

Laura spun 2 batts from Knit Spin Farm (6.5 0z) into 450 yards of a 2 ply.

 Laura  is working on the Out of Winter shawl by TamyGore.  She is using size 6 needles and knitting it out of some Koomasee BFL that she spun.  She also knit on a pair of Knit Spin Farm Targhee Sport Weight socks in Deep Woods Solstice Celebration on size 1 needles.  She has also cast on a foolproof out of some Hello Yarn patchwork kit handspun.

Leslie did all the finishing (hems, pockets, etc) for her reverse applique octopus version of No Hole In My Pocket. She also knit a pair of Better Dorm Boots using 4 strands of fingering held together on size 10 US needles.  She finished and blocked out of SundayKnits Eden 3 ply.

Laura finished  the Clove and Twine Toque out of Suri Silk from Suburban Stitcher in the Lady Bird colorway and some deep stash circa 2008.  She also knit the Without a Paddle hat by Kinoknits out of Parkour Kitties in the Old Tin Roof II colorway. She also knit a baby vertebrae in the smallest size out of Dream in Color Classy.

Laura dug out some old singles from Fiberoptic and finished them (550 yards). She also plied the Hipstrings Base 12 (260 yards) and the Kim Dyes Yarn Good Times Targhee (620 yards). She also spun Wee Chickadee in the on my way colorway on Corriedale.

Leslie made labels for needle storage as well as labels for storage drawers. 

Laura finished 2 Quynn hats by Woolly Wormhead.  One is out of Shirsty Cat Designs Just the Worsty in the Lusty colorway.  The other is out of some old handspun held double.  Both were knit on size 6 needles.  

Laura plyed some polwarth from Into the Whirled in the Plausible Impossibility (160 yards of a 3-ply).  She dug out some old singles from Fiberoptic and finished them. She also spun Wee Chickadee in the Old Pine colorway on Corriedale.

Leslie is reading the Saint of Steel series by T. Kingfisher.  She is re-watching Taskmaster and trying a couple of new shows.

Leslie made progress on an old WIP – the Hasukai cowl out of Brooklyn Tweed Plains in Treehouse (from Oct 2018). She ripped out Brioche Adventure by Jonatan Tallow out of last year’s HipStrings advent because apparently she can’t read directions. She cast on Solstice by Tricot design MCL out of Loop Yin Yang in the Body and Soul colorways.  She also pulled Chance of Showers out of SundayKnits Eden 3 ply  out of time-out and is almost finished with the hem. She also started the second Spring Bouquet crewel pillow front from Custom House (first finished in March 2018)

Leslie knit a couple of Snap Hats from TinCanKnits out of leftover fingering weight yarns.

Laura finished a pair of vanilla is the new black socks out of deep stash.  It is Biscotte and Cie in grincheux and  was bought in 2011! She also finished a pair of Knit Spin Farm Targhee sport weight socks in coloring book day for her sister and a pair of Must Stash Yarns in Denali for her mom.  Both these socks used WendyKnits Toe Up Sock with gusset pattern.

Laura plyed some wooly tweed in Neon Mermaid by Spotted Circus Alpacas.  She also plyed some Hobbledeehoy Battlings in the firefly colorway and some Hipstrings.

Leslie spun two singles – All Wound Up in a superwash merino and some deep stash battlets from the Enchanted Knoll Happy Hooves club (5+ years old) in half ounce battlets.

Laura has been reading House of Hades by Rick Riordan (middle grade/lower YA).  She also restarted the Royal States series by Susan Copperfield (Dystopian M/F romance with paranormal elements)
