Leslie made progress on an old WIP – the Hasukai cowl out of Brooklyn Tweed Plains in Treehouse (from Oct 2018). She knit on Brioche Adventure by Jonatan Tallow out of last year’s HipStrings advent.

 Laura  is working on a pair of vanilla is the new black socks out of deep stash.  It is Biscotte and Cie in grincheux and  was bought in 2011!  She also started the Out of Winter shawl by TamyGore.  She is using size 6 needles and knitting it out of some Koomasee BFL that she spun.  She also started a Quynn hat by Woolly Wormhead out of Shirsty Cat Designs Just the Worsty in the Lusty colorway.

Leslie sewed the Ramona Shacket from Petite Stitchery, part of my monthly  indiestitch boxes (I do receive a small referral fee if you use that link but the cost is the same regardless). Expandable button spacer example (amazon link).

Laura finished a pair of plain socks out of  Must Stash Yarns in the Hawaii Volcanoes colorway.

Laura has been spinning on some patchwork kits from Hello Yarn to eventually knit into a Flax Light by Tincanknits.  Laura has finished spinning the singles of  some Polwarth from Into the Whirled in the Plausible Impossibility colorway. She also finished the singles of some wooly tweed in Neon Mermaid by Spotted Circus Alpaccas

Leslie is reading the Gobbelino London, PI series by kim Watt (urban satire/mystery).  She has been binging Maintenance Phase with Aubrey Gordon (Your Fat Friend) and Michael Hobbes (You’re Wrong About).  She started watching the Wheel of Time series on Amazon Prime (based on the Robert Jordan books).

Laura has been reading Daughter of the Deep by Rick Riordan (middle grade/lower YA version of 2,000 leagues under the sea).

Laura finished the  Beachcomb by Tif Neilan   She also finished some Big Mountain hats by Faye Kennington out of various colors of Miss Babs K2.  These were knit on size 10 and 10.5 needles.  She also finished a pair of Mother Slippers by Qing Fibre. Laura also finished the Free Breakfast by Emily Philip out of Shipwrecked Sheep sport weight in the Hatchling colorway

 Laura is working on the Beachcomb by Tif Neilan  She will be using handspun for the main color. She started a pair of plain socks out of  Must Stash Yarns in the Hawaii Volcanoes colorway.  She’s also cast on Big mountain by Faye Kennington out of various colors of Miss Babs K2.

Leslie finished Quynn from Woolly Wormhead out of someWoolbearers store brand worsted. She also knit a Heartthrob Hat by Tanis Lavalle (Ravelry link), a Daniel Hat (Rav link) by Ysolda out of deep stash Crystal Palace Merino 5, and a Mountain Mist hat (Rav link) by TinCanKnits. 

Laura finished the socks out Knitpicks Felici in the spooky colorway.  They were knit using a Wendy Johnson heel from the toe up on Size 0s.  She also finished some Big Mountain hats by Faye Kennington out of various colors of Miss Babs K2.  These were knit on size 10 and 10.5 needles.
