So I’m not spinning as much as I’d like to, but at least I am SPINNING. I brought out the braid pictured in the last post and split it evenly into three 2.8 oz sections. Ideally, I’ll end up with 450/500 yards of a 3ply sock yarn. I was shooting for fingering, but at this point I’ll accept sportweight since I haven’t been spinning quite thinly enough.

In other news, I’m working on Alisha’s wedding shawl. Aside from it being lace and fiddly as hell, it’s going pretty well. I’m considering adding beads to the outer edges…
