Ever feel like you spend most of your day just trying to catch up?
Today’s prompt from NaBloPoMo is:
You’ve just been given a million dollars. You are not allowed to keep it or give it to anyone you know personally. What do you do with it and why?
Many schemes of wire transfers and a new yarn shop dance through my mind, but ultimately, I’d choose a charity to donate it to. Since Memphis is home to St. Jude Children’s Hospital which is the top child cancer research center in the country, it would probably go there. As long as I didn’t have to actually visit the children’s cancer ward. Just thinking about that makes me so teary eyed I can’t see straight.
On to less sad things – a finished object! It’s crochet, not knit, and took 3 days from start to finish – maybe 10 hours at the very most? It is Walden, out of Curious Creek Fibers in Wasonga.

You re a far better person than me. I’d give half to a charity probably and then the other half to buy out right a new house and fully furnish that bitch! (YARN ROOM! STUDIO! SOUNDPROOF PADDED ROOM FOR SPAWN!)
Ummm…if that is all the yarn you have – then yeah, you definitely don’t have enough!!
The shawl is gorgeous. I love the color (of course, it’s blue). You are not just awesome, you’re tri-craftual.
There are so many charities I would love to give money to Cancer, Diabetes & Autism are at the top of my list.. I always say one can never have too much yarn. I nominated you girls for an award on my blog.
