Episode 24 – DC Weekend with Wendy!

We hope you enjoy Episode 24! We did not travel with our studio lighting, so this one isn’t as bright as usual, but I think you can still see pretty much everything.

About Leslie

Leslie is obsessed with knitting, and when possible, perfection in her knitting. All stripey socks must match exactly and all lace must be blocked severely. She has major love for all of her viewers/readers and hopes to keep blogging and podcasting for years to come.

I loved soulless, I read it so freakin’ fast. I am lusting for Lord Maccon. I need to get the next books in the series.

  2. Glad you all had a wonderful visit with Wendy! Loved seeing her favorite FO’s! Thanks for sharing!

  3. Sarah says:

Great episode! I loved the 4 finished sweaters Wendy shared…. I always think of that type as old, scratchy & stiff but they looked so soft & drapey!! I wonder if she wears them still?

  4. Loved y’alls choices of reading materials. I am going to read Gail Carriger’s 3rd book ASAP now that it’s out. And (aside to Wendy) guess who was at Dragon*Con this weekend in Atlanta? Diana Gabaldon! I haven’t made it through all her books yet – started rereading from the beginning and am about half-way through the third. I’m going to check out some of your other recommendations because it seems as though we have similar tastes in genres.

    Loved the podcast as always!

what a fun show … Wendy’s sweaters are gorgeous! I love the “chit chat” — I may actually break down and read the Outlander series now 🙂 You covered a lot, as usual … but forgive me if I missed this earlier … how do you all know each other? 🙂

  10. Jenna says:

great post; wish I were there!!! XD
Just a note re: Dale of Norway.
They create and produce the sweater part of the Norwegian team’s Olympic uniforms, so that’s why they have all those designs. More fun for us!
