i would have to say tht my favorite moment would be when you mentioned me! i was sooo excited! i hope i win a skien of yarn not a book?

  2. Patti S. says:

I looked about at several videocasts and started laughing again when I hit #18 Incognito and the wax mustaches. Loved that you both started laughing. It is so great. Love your videocasts!!!!

  3. Heather N says:

I think my favorite moment would be when LaLa’s niece made an appearance for like 3 seconds when she was picked up and laughed when she was in the camera frame.

Also, I think my favorite episode was the recap of Spring Fling when you both were showing your fantastic buys! I was so jealous and bummed that I cannot go to Spring Fling nor see the Loopy Ewe in person… and I wanted everything you both bought. My favorite color is also red~ 😀

  4. Elizabeth GM says:

Your podcast has been a joy to watch as I’ve been madly knitting into the wee hours through a whole slew of projects on deadline. Thanks for the company!

My favorite moment so far was when Leslie held up her original Shipwreck shawl. I gasped aloud — so beautiful.

  5. Tina Pettit says:

My favorite KnitGirllls moment was when you announced that you reached 500 group members (514 to be exact) on you by your 30th episode! Honestly, I’m surprised it took that long. You girls are awesome, so fun to watch, and you do amazing work! I hope you keep doing this podcast for a long time to come because I love watching you!
I also loved the 10% angel wishes and unicorn souls! I watch after posting my class assignments online between midnight and 3am EST, and giggled so loud I almost woke up the whole house!

  6. Zabelle says:

I’m really interested in a tutorial about putting beads in your shawls like how to choose the beads and how to put them in the knitting. My favorite moment is when you did the tutorial on washing knits. I absolutly loved it!

  7. Robin Diebold says:

This is the first episode that I have watched. I heard about you from a friend. So I guess that I would have to say that my favorite thing is seeing your WIP and FO.
I enjoyed this episode and will watch the previous ones.

  8. Helena says:

I love the time your interviewing Wendy and her cat is just not wanting to be part of the show. and then later wants the attention. It was very cute.

  9. Sarah says:

This will come as no surprise, I am sure, but my favorite knitgirllls moment is the super cool spoof on the old spice commercial 😉

  10. Jessica says:

I love when I forget that you two are on the computer, instead of hanging out in a room with me, and I add to the conversation without realizing you can’t hear me. This generally happens about once an episode. My husband usually asks me why I’m talking to the computer. My kid just rolls his eyes at me.

  11. Talithia(urbanhomemaker) says:

Ok ya’ll almost made me pee my pants. HAHA the Emo comercial is sooooo funny. Keep up the good work and I have loved the show from episode 1. And lets see I thought it was cute when Lala’s neice didn’t want to be on camera. It reminded me of my now teens when they were little and who could not laugh about all the boobie talk. Be glad you have them says this b cup. Tons of love and can’t wait for next episode.

  12. imjustlori says:

My favorite moments are the tours of where you record, and the peeks “behind the curtain” of podcasting, like the flash of the schedule notebook.

Oh, and hearing what wine you’re drinking, Leslie. If it wasn’t usually Monday morning when I watched, I’d be right there with you. 🙂

    Keep recording!

  13. Sarah Whaley says:

My favorite moment has to be “Fairy wishes and Unicorn souls”!

  14. Honestly, the first thing that popped in my head was that moment in the dying episode when I realized the height difference and busted out laughing. I love listening to you guys, you are the only thing that makes Mondays worthwhile!!

  15. Eileen says:

I loved the SOAK demo. Even though I KNOW that Laura is tall it still struck me as funny to see how much taller you are then Leslie. Now I know what I look like at my knit group as I am also 6′.

  16. pikemulherin25 says:

One of my favorite moments is when we all got to see Leslie’s Yarn Stash. You guys have a great show. I am looking forward to the next one!

  17. Eloise says:

My favorite moment was the look on Leslie’s face when she couldn’t remember my Rav name. Other than that I would have to rewatch all the episodes to come up with another one.

  18. juliebie says:

I’m not 100% caught up in watching all the back episodes but my favorite part of every show is when you show your favorite things. I LOVE hearing about what you like and don’t like (un-favorite things I guess?).

  19. Lauren says:

My favorite moment? Hmm. The wax moustaches cracked me up. I think one of my favorite parts of your videocasts is the fact that you both have totally different rules for the matchiness of your socks. I’m much more of a Leslie type of girl, but it’s great to see the differences among knitters. Laura – I wish I could just let it go like you sometimes!

  20. Karin says:

My favorite thing is when you drink wine on the episode. I tell my hubby I’m drinking with friends :). Still working on getting my knitting group to knit at a bar.

  21. Fourpeanuts says:

I Love everything. I live in a town with no LYS and very few “not traditional” knitters so to have the ability to watch Knitters like me is awesome. Oh and I am still waiting to see the spinning episode. Leslie on the solo episode said she would go down and get her wheel and demo it in the morning. I cant wait for that morning to come. ***My favorite moments have to be from this episode Apparently 6 year olds have to be feed… I have a 6year old along with two 3 year olds and a four year old and can identify with the little knitting time. My 6year old actually watched this episode and laughed at the unicorn souls part and asked if you were serious.

  22. LoriAngela says:

My favourite Knit Girllls moment was the Soak episode. You were so relaxed and natural, but smooth and professional as well. Congratulations on 30 episodes. I’ve loved them all.

  23. My favorite Knit Girllls moment? Hmmm…. the wax mustaches and you announcing you had 500 viewers! Congrats to you both!!!

  24. Amy says:

My favorite moment is every knitgirlll moment. 🙂 Cheesiness aside, I love the soak demonstration. I love that I’m not the only one who makes smiley faces with soap…I do that when I do dishes.

  25. Tina in Maine says:

I just left this comment by accident on episode 23, not sure how that happened, so I’m putting it here where it belongs. You girllls are great and I’m very thankful for your video podcasts. Keep it up.

One of my favorite moments was when you switched over to a different format and no longer had to break the episodes up. But, my favorite moment was in episode 1 when Leslie called Laura the Rainman of yarn! LOL But the old spice commercial spoof has just about surpassed that! You gals have challenged me to do the Norwegian Socks, get on plurk, and I’m starting to stalk Wollmeise yarn!

  26. Allison says:

I don’t know if it’s my favorite due to the personal angst & frustration it’s caused me but LaLa introducing the Angry Birds while you guys were in DC sticks out. Since that fateful day, i’ve spent a liitle bit each day tring to kill green pigs. I also really love to hear about what LaLa’s reading since we have similar tastes. She’s turned me on to a few authors. 🙂

  27. Rae says:

I love your video podcast you two are always so hilarious. My favorite moments are when you show what your knitting & what you have finished my Q & cart has grown by leaps & bounds since I began watching you both.

  28. Renee says:

It’s hard to pick just one “favorite moment” but I laughed so hard when Laura told the story about the rug stretching incident. The part that made me laugh the hardest was when Laura’s mom could see Leslie at the door but couldn’t get to her! That still makes me laugh! 🙂

  29. Sarah says:

I loved your fling recaps the best! Makes me wish I was still there.

  30. victoria says:

my favorite is the soak episode.i love seeing and hearing, the things u make and how to’s,and book reviews.keep on making us laugh!

  31. Shirley says:

I’d have to rewatch all of the episodes to find my favourite moment because I don’t remember what happened on what episode, so I’ll just say that the newest thing I like is the EMO Spice Girllls ad! I also enjoy your teasing back and forth. Are you taking international entries?

  32. Aberdonian says:

My favourite moment so far (I’ve only watched episodes 23-30) has to be the attitude of Wendy’s cat!

Oh and I love spotting the threadless t-shirts and I adore Laura’s “yeah”!

  33. Amy says:

My favorite thing I remember, which isn’t really funny or a moment, was when Laura was explaining about how good readers read, and see a picture in their head, and bad readers don’t see the picture. I’ve always loved to read, but have so many friends that don’t. And after hearing this I asked them if they see the scenes like a movie in their head when they read and they don’t! But it was something that stayed with me, and I’ve told a few other people about because it was always something that I wondered about and I’d never heard it explained so simply. 🙂

  34. erin says:

I think my favorite thing is the hilarious spoof of the Old Spice commercial! Those crack me up and I always end up rewinding the TV to watch them. I just started watching so I’ve only seen episodes 26- 30, but now I’m working from the beginning! Thanks so much for putting out such an awesome videocast!

  35. Wanda in AR says:

My favorite moment was when I got menitioned. After that my favorite is the soak demo. I like being able to see how you wash and care for you yarn. You read how to do it but it is reassuring to know that others are doing the same thing that you are.

  36. Cheryl says:

I have to say my favorite moment is when you show sock porn. I keep waiting to see if I can find the cheshire cat yarn on etsy, as well as the knitpurlgurl rainbow socks, and more from her. I’m also pondering whether to ask my parents to pick me up some Footprints sock yarn in Hawaii, since there’s yarn shops on their island that carry it. Not a typical moment, but I just keep thinking about them, and searching for that yarn!! XD

  37. Sommer Greer says:

I am a new watcher/stalker and I have only seen 2 or 3 episodes, so I don’t really have a favorite moment. But I have really enjoyed the the sock book reviews in honor of socktober.

    You guys are awesome!

  38. phoenixfire says:

Although I definitely prefer the episodes where the two of you are together, two of my favorite moments are from the episodes where you are not. I LOVED Leslie’s stash tour. She inspired me to turn an unused sun porch into a knitting and stash room. I think I laughed the most, though, during the episode where Laura was at the family reunion. Her sister was hilarious!

  39. nicky says:

My favorite moment is when Laura’s little niece makes her cameo appearance. Love all your moments really, but since you made me pick just one…. there you have it. Thanks for such a great videocast. Love it!!

  40. Sri says:

My favorite moment was when Leslie rolled her eyes at the camera as Laura was going on about the parallel universe in one of her book series she was reading. I’ve enjoyed the podcasts so much! Thanks for putting the time in for them!

  41. Marianne says:

Congratulations on 30 episodes and over 500 members!

My favorite moments on the shows are when you showcase the indie dyed yarns you are working with. I particularly like watching the progress on the Chesshire Cat socks!

  42. pawlah says:

I love the Old Spice Spoof! Congratulations on 30 episodes & over 500 members!!!!!

  43. Lisa R. says:

There are a few that stand out to me. I think my favorite was just a really small little moment when Leslie hit Laura with her needle and didn’t say anything, Laura stopped and said “and don’t think I didn’t feel you hit me with that needle”. It was one of those friend things that I think we’ve all done at one time or another just in a state of harassment. I laughed so hard at that. Just the little private giggle you guys had. Then there was Laura ‘thwacking’ her yarn…the spray looked like she had a wet dog in her arms. LOL I also remember Leslie thinking she didn’t look particularly fabulous one day, and she was tired and said something like ‘cuz i just don’t care ya’ll’. I don’t know what it was, but something in her tone and her expression just cracked me up!

  44. Chelsea says:

Another awesome episode, ladies! Favorite Knitgirllls moments: when you visited Wendy Knits & when we finally got to see how tall LaLa is in the Soak review.

Also, LaLa, I don’t know how you feel about Battle Star Galactica, but I was re-visiting the series (AKA subjecting my roommates to a 2-day BSG marathon) this weekend. And, I realized that you kinda, sorta look like the series’ most badass character: Kara Thrace/Starbuck. Maybe you think that’s awesome, maybe not.

    Rock on, dudes, rock on!

  45. Cyndi J says:

How can you pick a favorite moment when there are so many laughs per episode?!? Watching Laura get herself wet during the Soak episode was pretty funny ! Keep up the great work- I look forward to the next 30 episodes!

  46. aknitontheside says:

Hi Knitgirllls. My favourite moment is seeing a new episode up. I grab my knitting and settle back to knit along with my knit buds (who I have never met but are knit friends none the less). I love that there are a few episodes available now. When I hit a tedious knitting job (endless garter yoke of Feb lady sweater springs to mind), I start at episode 1 and happily knit my way thru all the episodes. I have done this more than once! and look forward to doing it again.

My favourite moment – getting the video in one hit! Less dropping of the knitting to work through the bite-sized vid’s.

    All the best

  47. candisrrt says:

I love all the vid casts but I think one of my favorite moments was when laura got her fruit chews from a viewer. Her love for her favorite candy makes me laugh and I just loved her giggle.
BTW, as a lesbian, greatly thank you for supporting pride in your town!

  48. Zaida says:

Congratulations on 30 shows. I must say I love them all. I find it very hard to find a favorite moment, but I really get a kick on how when it’s time to show what you are currently working on, Laura always seems to be in a spot of her knitting where she cannot stop right away. Sooooooooo true to life.
Continue the great job. I love your interaction, which can only happen with very good friends.

  49. phobbs1 says:

Favorite moment? Seriously? You think I can narrow it down to just one?

Ok, ok! I would have to say it was when Leslie found an old UFO and Lala got to harass her for having so many projects on the needles. Or was it when Kobe made his appearance and then was camera shy? Or was it Lemonhalf’s “dirty hippie” comment? Or maybe it was the idea that 6yo’s will run naked through your house if you don’t watch them carefully? Or the whole Old Spice spoof?

All this is just my way of saying that you are definitely my favorite podcast! Your enjoyment of each other, the craft and videocasting shows…keep up the good work and you will be at episode 50 and 1000 before you know it.

  50. Anna says:

I loved getting to see Sarah at Fling, and my favorite story was the time Lala found Humberto watching the washing machine and discovered her dad was doing a load of her ‘needs special care’ items. LOL!

  51. Michele says:

The “soak” episode was one of my favorites! But the funniest episode is when Leslie talks about sending her son off to school and a bird flew in the house!

  52. Judy (Crochet22) says:

Thanks for all the episodes but especially the one on two color sock. I have watched all episodes and beginning again

  53. Peg says:

I am new….so don’t have a fav. I just found you when following Loopy Ewe links on the shawl knit with the new DIC….I love DIC!

It is too late for me to go back and watch previous episodes….but I hope to do so soon.
You seem to be having a great time.

  54. MiataMiMi says:

I love watching you guys; your sense of humor cracks me up; really! My favorite knitgirllls moment is when Leslie talks about the “f’ n” bird that got in. And then LaLa asked what kind of bird it was and Leslie said, matter of factly, it was red so I guess that it would be a redbird. That just struck me so funny; I really did laugh out loud. Keep up the good work. MiMi

  55. Betsy says:

It’s really hard to pick a favorite moment. I guess I would pick a favorite segment. I love to see all of your finished projects. It’s always so inpirational. Keep up the great work.

  56. Sherri A. says:

It’s too hard to pick only one but I loved your visit with Wendy and Lucy. One that was funny but not funny was when your LaLa’s Dad helped with her laundry. I too had a “laundry helper”…go ahead, ask me about my Barbie sweater.

  57. Lynn Z says:

I love every moment of The Knit Girllls, but my very favorite moments were the ones when you two promoted my fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. I would not have been able to raise so much money without your help. Love you two! 🙂

I look forward to your next 30 shows! Congratulations!

  58. MaryjoO says:

oh dear .. how can I pick “one” favorite moment? I liked the Soak episode a lot, but always enjoy your “formatted sections”, too. But wait … more! I am very tall and had a great smile at your height differences — I also usually have “shorter” girlfriends LOL

But all in all, all your episodes are my “favorite.” It is so much fun watching you two have fun!

  59. Abby says:

My favorite knitgirllls moment is when you visited wendyknits in dc.

  60. ANN MITTON aka realmessy says:

My favourite (note the English/Canadian spelling) Knitgirllls moment is when the show hits ITunes every week. I wait for it so patiently and then devour it, knitting in hand, hanging on every finished object, every work in progress, every giggle, every bit of banter. I love love love this show. I love the friendship you guys have, it is clear that you have a wonderful relationship. Most of all I love that you are enterprising enough to share your passion with others in a podcast and that you do so with such ease and ingenuity. Thanks for this show. Did I mention that I love love love it and it is my favourite moment of my pod cast week.

  61. Theresa says:

I absolutely love seeing all of your lacy shawls…I am too scared to try that. So, it is very inspiring to me. I also like hearing about your works in progress! All those pretty yarns…!!!

  62. Carrie says:

My favorite . That I can put you on in the morning when I’m feeling lonely before I go off to work , I feel like i’m with friends at a knit in.

I like that you review books that are not brand new and ones that are self published.

I loved the soak episode , once SAFF is over I will be getting the bucket for my handknits.

That LaLa is a Steelers fan . That Les reviews wine . My favorite hmm you empower me to be a better spinner / knitter .

  63. SpaceJunk says:

My favorite quote is from this episode. “You remember stuff. That’s so cute.” ROFL And my favorite personal moment was hearing you guys mention me in an episode. I always really enjoy your podcast. I watch it on Monday mornings usually, after my kids go to school, and it is a great way to start off my week. <3

  64. SwedishRose says:

I can’t think of just one moment that I love the most but as far as episodes go I loved the Soak-review and all the episodes with Wendy 😀

Oh and I thought of a moment! When you all tried to get Lucy on camera but she simply refused when you were visiting Wendy.

Congratulations to 500+ members and 30 episodes!

  65. Chris R. says:

Just found you, via Loopy Ewe, and I enjoyed my first episode! Thank you for the info and also talking about how everyone has ladders now and then. I look forward to watching some of your past episodes.

  66. Geal says:

I love the Soak episode when I finally realized how tall Laura is

  67. Sandy says:

Congrats for reaching over 500 members! I love all your episodes and am always excited to see a new one downloading on iTunes. Not sure which one is my favourite, but I did enjoy watching the episodes at Spring Fling when you had Jackie from KIPing it Real and Wendy as guests. You girls are AWESOME!

  68. Diane says:

My favorite episode was the Soak episode! You all were very relaxed and I felt like I was in the room. I have to say I went out that week and bought some Soak based on your comments. Of course the most funny has to be the waxed mustaches! You all are terrific! Love you and keep the episodes coming, Diane

  69. aprilshowers says:

I think my favorite moment was the very first podcast of yours that I saw. First, Laura introduced herself and I thought “hey, that’s my name too!” Then she showed her recent acquisition of Play at Life sock yarn and I looked down to see my hands knitting the same exact yarn. Then she talked about her new stitch markers from Hide and Sheep and the cute little tin they come in and I looked to my left to see the same tin. It was all very surreal. Another favorite moment was when we got to see how tall Laura is and I then realized that we aren’t in fact the same person since I am closer to Leslie’s height.

Congrats on reaching episode 30 and 500 members! Keep em coming!

  70. Carina (pod86) says:

Thank you for another great podcast! You seriously made my day yesterday. I’ve just moved and I can’t find anything, my daughter has decided she no longer needs to sleep, I was expecting yarn in the post that didn’t arrive, and worst of all I turned to my yarn stash for comfort to find that during the move my brand new sock blockers have been snapped in half. Watching the episode and the so so so funny emo commercial saved yesterday for me thank you!!!!
My favourite moments are Laura’s stories about her dad washing her hand wash only stuff. As one who has a husband who throws EVERYTHING into our tumble dryer I can relate to the heartache.
    Thanks again

  71. Heidi says:

I love sitting with my knitting and listening to you chat, you are both such productive knitters and it’s great seeing your latest projects. I loved the soak demo. Thanks to you both for all the hard work you put in each week, it must be difficult to sound so fresh each week. We do all appreciate it…..

  72. madonnaearth says:

I am amazed at how well you guys talk and knit at the same time. I have to pause one or the other constantly at knit night. Love your podcast!

  73. missmasala5 says:

My favorite moments, as there are two, are the episodes where both of you gave viewers a peek around your stash/craft rooms. One word: drool.

  74. Julie says:

My favorite thing was when Leslie gave us a tour of her knitting room. Right now I live in a tiny New York City apartment but some day I’ll have a yarn/craft room!

  75. Crystal says:

My favorite thing is really multiple things. I love the off handed comments about the Laura’s Norwegian Rose socks. It actually makes me feel better about my own languishing Norwegian Rose.

  76. Hey Ladies!
Thanks for another great videocast! My favorite moment in Knit Girllls history would have to be any time Lala says “It’s all about me”. Cracks me up. Second favorite has to be when Leslie told Lala she had issues with Angry Birds.

  77. Susan Inouye says:

Love the videocast. One of my favorite videocast is in Washington DC at WendiKnits home. I also was interested in your items that you brought to the Fair. Thanks for the videocast….I thoroughly enjoyed them!!!

  78. wenchfaery says:

Love you guys, been watching since your first episode – I have to admit, my favourite KnitGirllls moment so far was when Laura stood up in the Soak review. My jaw dropped, and I was all “holy crap she’s tall!” I’m 5’5″, so I’m used to looking up to people lol.

  79. Caryn says:

My favorite moment, at least at this moment, is this episode when Laura said chitin. I’ve always pronounced it “ki-tin” as in a kite, but when you said it “chi-tin” as in chin, I heard “Shittin” and I nearly fell out of my chair.

I realize that may not have been intentionally funny, but I laughed.

    Congrats girls!

  80. Denise says:

Love your podcast! I thought it was funny (to me) on episode 28 when Leslie said she was knitting size 11 socks. I was like whoa! Those are some big socks! I also thought the “cheap seats” was pretty humorous. I wouldn’t mind seating in the cheap seats myself.

  81. Shalanda says:

I have two favorite things. I loved the beginning of episode 18 with the waxed moustaches. It brought back childhood memories. My second favorite thing is getting to seet the awesome projects you all work on.

  82. Mary Keeler(NanaMama) says:

My favorite episode was the first one I watched. I loved the two of you right away but couldn’t imagine watching you every week because it was the episode where you were outside on the porch and lighting was horrible. Was so glad the next episode was in your normal setting. So, I went back and watched them all. Very entertaining.
    Nana Mama

  83. Kathy Rasmussen says:

My favorite “moment” so to speak, is seeing Leslie’s Ninja Cupcake T-shirt. I’ve been looking for one ever since!

Thanks for pocasting. I look forward to it each week.

  84. Michele says:

Thanks Les and Lala for all the “moments”! Well, lets see I think Waxed mustaches is up at the top. Second is when Laura describes not getting a copy of the pattern for her shawl off Ravelery and when she went back to check it…it was gone with a notation…Please don’t contact me about this pattern. LOL Love you girls and

  85. StacieB. says:

My favorite moment was when Leslie showed off her gorgeous Shipwreck shawl, but it was replaced with the Old Spice parody! That was AWESOME! Hope EMO decides to go to AR!

  86. Jenifer says:

Mine is when LaLa recorded in my home state – Michigan!

  87. Cassy says:

My favorite moment, well one of my favorites, was the review of Bitch Bubbly. I just loves the way that Leslie said Bitch Bubbly. I am also a huge fan of the airing of the piddleloops every once in a while. So much so, that I had to go off and get my own piddleloops!

  88. Jean says:

I love the podcast….but when Leslie showed up with the tiara….it was great. I love looking at the variety of different tee shirts you wear. If there is a story …. share it. I am hooked on socks but have not tried toe up. Just ordered Wendy’s book and I have never knit with 2 circs. You both have inspired my. Thank you for all the laugh and keep them coming!!

  89. My favorite moment was when Lala’s niece made her cameo appearance. I would love any prize!

  90. Keena says:

Hi Knit Girllls! Love the podcast, my favorite part is drooling over the awesome yarn you guys knit with. Most times I’ve never heard of the dyer before listening so thanks for the enabling!

  91. Alexa says:

I have several favorite Knit girlll moments. The first are the ones where we got to see the stash rooms. The second ones are the lonely girlll episodes while Laura was away. Oh and since I make my mom, a non-knitter, watch your podcast, she doesn’t really like the podcast because she says half the time she doesn’t know what you’re talking about. So her favorite moment is when it ends! haha

  92. Steve says:

I would have to say that my favorite moments from the video cast have to when you ladies show your knits in progress. I’m always amazed at how much knitting you accomplish in a week’s time. Plus, I’m always getting new ideas of things I want to knit in the future. Thanks for doing such an amazing job!

  93. Raquel says:

    Hi Ladies,

One of my many favorite moments was actually an episode I got off of your website because its not on itunes it was Episode 7. Where you are in a hotel room with many of your friends and Leslie started turning the camera and all the ladies, some screamed while other began hiding. I couldn’t believe I never saw that show. Any who I absolutely love watching you ladies. Its so lovely to be sitting down with some friends over drinks and listen to you all talk about your knitted project. While I knit along with you. Keep up the great show you have a very loyal viewer.

PS Loved the EMO commercial and btw Laura you’re not alone with steaming your sock to block them I would of done the same in order to be quick. 🙂

I stumbled upon your podcast and was hooked. I love all your episodes! I have finished my second pair of socks. I love your energy and it inspires me to knit more.

  95. Fran says:

First episode I watched took place on the porch. While it’s certain that podcasters and vid-casters are passionate about sharing their joy of knitting and fibre, seeing you express your love is what brings me back.

And since I’m Canadian, I love hearing y’all talk with your sweet Southern accents.

  96. Lani says:

I really enjoy your book reviews. My favorite review was of the soak and tub. It’s just fun to listen. Thanks!

  97. beck says:

i hope i score some sweet loot. oh and the show is still good too. glad you finished my socks <3 beck.

  98. Amy Green says:

Being a new fan and the random kinda chick that I am, I have 2 favorite moments so far is the “Laura Show”. It was just tooooo funny that the simple addition of new lights led to the revelation of LaLa’s gorgeous eye colors! I love how you guys are just “regular” people (meant with the upmost coolness)!!
I also love “Fill” and “Carry” on the soak episode!! Too funny!

Here’s to hoping the random comment/number generator gods are looking down positively on me! I can’t win squat! LOL

  99. daizie says:

I did leave a comment on the rav group then saw your note about on here too. I loved the spinning bag tour you both gave. It made me think of things that I might need to carry as well. I always love seeing the yarns you have and learning about new places to get the pretties from. You both always have great work but also are real about things. If you don’t like something you tell us. If you feel like something was wrong, you say so. I love the honesty that is there. Thanks for sharing so much with us.

  100. Allison L says:

Love the show. It is so nice to see what you are talking about and its definitely inspired me to try some new patterns, covet some new yarns and even read some new books. I would have to say my favorite shows where the one’s from the fling. It was great seeing how fun it was. I am going to try to go this year, after watching the recaps, it seems worth it, even if I am paying for hotel 5 miles from my house 🙂

  101. Denise says:

I just stumbled on your video podcasts this week and have almost caught up (my poor kids). I have to say my favorite moments are just they two of you talking and laughing with each other. I loved when Leslie covers up Laura and then pretends it isn’t on purpose. Also, the story of when Leslie walked into the LYS and saw herself on the TV… I just cracked up that she left (I would too). I am enjoying you all so much, just love it!!

  102. Donna says:

I found your website last week. And it is entirely your fault that I’ve accomplished absolutely nothing for an entire week because I’ve watched all 30 episodes! I’ve only been knitting for a few years and have been much slower in my progress – might be those two darn teenagers I’m raising! Anyway my favorite thing about your podcast is that you are people I would hang out with – regular folk. As for a favorite moment – when Laura stood up during the Soak tutorial. I laughed out loud!

Thanks for doing this podcast, I’m really enjoying it!

  103. JaneB says:

Lots of favs – I love to watch you two… among my most fav – the casts from the Spring Fling. Since I couldn’t be there it was great to be a part of the Fling in this tangential way.

  104. Tashbalaz says:

Fav moment was Laura’s experience in a sweater class where there teacher slammed top-down seamless raglans on adults and meanwhile, Laura is wearing a top-down seamless raglan.

  105. Vicky "Iggystar" Bagley says:

I’m still getting caught up with older episodes and even though I’m a new viewer there are quite a few favorite moments for me already.

-The Soak episode was very informative and fun and even though she talked about being tall in the podcast, of course with both of the ladies sitting down you really couldn’t tell until then. Yay, for tall girls! (and short ones too:)

-Laura sweater class experience was unintentionally hilarious.

-The Emo commercial had me rolling.

-I love hearing Leslie detailing the things she’s OCD about, stripes matching, not having more than one project on the needles (and her fretting when there happens to be one additional project).

    Lots to love actually. 🙂

  106. Elysbeth says:

My favorite moment – the Incognito episode where Leslie is being all serious and Laura picks up the mustache again, then Leslie glances over. Hilarious!

But I watch all the episodes for the fun, good reviews, yarn comments, and the difference in personalities played out so clearly.

    Thank you ladies.

  107. Karen says:

My favorite was the Soak episode. I can’t believe how tall Laura is, of course I’m 5’1″ so everyone seems tall to me:)

  108. Janet says:

My favorite thing happens often – both Laura and Leslie get these wonderful expressions when the other’s quirks come out! But what are friends for?

And Leslie, I so agree with you about non-matching socks. It is scary for me to buy multicolored sock yarn. What if I can’t get the stripes to match?

  109. Beth says:

One of my favorite things is hearing about the new stuff Laura has cast on and Leslie teasing her about it because she only has one or two things on the needles.

    Congrats on 500 members!

  110. Suzanne says:

I love so much. Laura thwacking and getting herself all wet was fun. I also really loved Laura’s cowboy hat. And, just the way you guys lovingly tease each other is lots of fun. 🙂

  111. Eliana says:

It’s really hard to choose, but if I had to choose, I would say, I love the Washington D.C episode, when you filmed with Wendy, and she showed her pi-shawl, and some of her f.o’s, and her cat Lucy made an appearance. And when you guys talked about your train ride, and Laura mentioned the time she was kicked out for eating, and the obsession of the sling-shot game. That was a one of my favorite episodes.

Oooh and I also like episode 25, where you ask how much a knitter charges for knitting a project for someone else, and how some people (non-knitters) think it’s cheaper to pay for someone to knit something rather then purchase an already machine knitted item.

You guys are awesome, and I love watching every single one of your episodes!
Thanks for this fantastic giveaway 🙂

  112. Kate aka chiendeterre says:

My favorite episode is #10 “Damn You, KnitGirllls!” That’s when the enabling began for me!

  113. Carol says:

I love the one where Leslie points to her left and says on the right and Lala starts the hand movements going in both directions . You’ll are great working together. The expresions that are made and your interactions are great love all the shows . Keep up the great shows . The way things are explained make it much easier for newbies to learn in a fun enviroment. Thanks again .

  114. Lisa says:

Hm, I know I commented on this episode somewhere (Plurk or Rav?), but I’ll comment again here, as per Leslie’s request!

I honestly can’t pick a favorite KG’s moment. What I can say is that you guys are one of the highlights of my week! I look forward to watching you every Sunday night. I love seeing your projects and hear what you’ve got going on in your worlds. Most of all, I love that you guys have each other…I have friends who knit, but I wish so much that I had a really close knitter best friend like you guys are to each other. You are so very lucky to have each other, and I enjoy being witness to your friendship in even this remote kind of way. It is a joy to me. 🙂

  115. Violet says:

I think the videocast as a format is especially great for showing off FOs. I have to say that my favourite moment is probably Leslie’s Shipwreck Shawl (which actually, now that I think about it, has been shown twice :D)

  116. Charis says:

Favorite moment? You want me to pick *one*?

Well, okay. After much intense contemplating (the interview with Wendy? Beck’s “dirty hippy” moment? Lala’s spinning?) I have decided that my favorite KnitGirllls moment is the interview during the Spring Fling with Stacy of Tempted Yarn. She is such an amazing dyer, and local to me, too! In fact, birthdays and Christmas are usually marked by some yarn from her for me, my sister Constance (Cinnabars), or both.

Although the cats usually think it’s really for them. Silly cats.

Awesome podcast, ladies. May you continue for a long time.

  117. Aron says:

My favorite episode was when you went to visit Wendy. That was super fun. Keep up the great video casts 😀

  118. Megan says:

I love each podcast. I would have to say the last one is always my favorite!! Do I get an extra prize entry for flattery? =op

  119. Nicole says:

I have so many favorite moments! One that really springs to mind though would be the wax mustaches. I also like how Laura always seems to be wearing a hat, or have sunglasses on her head, and when Leslie wore the tiara for her birthday.

  120. Tammy says:

I can’t pick just one, but my favorite thing about the podcast is feeling like I’ve always got my knitting friends with me – it’s a great way to keep up with y’all.

  121. trish says:

I don’t really have a fave moment as I love all the podcasts in total. I just love watching you guys, your interplay and affection for each other. If push came to shove, the great moments for me are when you show your finished objects. I adore seeing them since I can see how yarns and projects knit up. I’d love to win the red Snap Its. They’re so cool. Like Leslie, red is a fave color of mine. My knitting space/office is even painted red.
Here’s to another 30, and 30, and 30, etc episodes!

  122. Donna Wingfield says:

Too many favorite moments to count! I did, however, love the Soak episode so much that I ordered some from the Loopy Ewe along with some Soak Heel cream. Oh, yes, I really enjoyed your visit with Wendy Johnson.

  123. Arlene Jones says:

I am glad I found this podcast. I listen when I go to bed but I giggle to much! My fav episode so far was hearing Laura talk about Sarus candy and thge Steelers! I am from Pittsburgh. Anytime you want so candy let me know!!

  124. Audrea Henderson says:

Ok so I found the right place to post my fav moment is when you visit wendy knits and show us the ipad:) and well I liked the spring fling to and the stuff in the hank of yarn.
