Magazine Review of Interweave Knits Weekend
Help Becca find safety eyes.
6060 (http://www.etsy.com/listing/64355571/black-plastic-eyes-craft-eyes-safety) has a sample pack of safety eyes in different sizes.
As always a great show.
Oh and I made a bracelet during it 😀
I’m with Laura on this one. I love the Weekend Knits magazine for the socks and fair isle sweater. Usually podcasters hate magazine patterns I like and like the ones that don’t thrill me. Maybe it’s because I’m old. Thanks for another great episode!
Becca, as Swedish Rose says (http://www.etsy.com/listing/63142506/black-plastic-eyes-craft-eyes-safety). It’s what Rebecca Danger lists in her book. I bought them and found the perfect ones for Penelope. Just noticed the tutorials. I am so there. I just learned the Twisted German Cast-on in a fingerless mitt class at ImagiKnit in San Francisco. Now when I forget how (and I will), I can come here. Thanks so much for everything. The hour + flew by.
Loved seeing Becca! As I’m watching I always try to make mental notes of what to comment about. It turns out that when the show is over I only remember maybe one thing I wanted to say. You are just too darn entertaining! The thing that does stick in my head though goes out to Leslie. Leslie, it’s so cute that you think Moe is going to let you spin that fiber 😉 The projects were awesome and it is helping me get back my knitting mojo. Laura, have a great trip! Leslie, hurry up and get down here 🙂
isn’t it ironic when folks leave such “constructive” criticism and then they can’t even claim it by logging in? if you fast forwarded through “most” of the episode, it seems to me your blanket statements where you use qualifiers like “a lot” and “every” are a little much. hope you have a more pleasant day, tomorrow, sunshine!!
Wow, it’s pretty easy to be negative when you’re anonymous. I think anyone willing to go “on camera” like that should be given some slack.
Great episode. As always. Here are two links for Becca regarding the safety eyes. I use both of them a lot for my Amigurumi/dolls/bears etc. Good quality. Good service.

Great show – loved it. And don’t worry about how long it was — Time Flies When Your Having Fun — Enjoyed Carin last week and checked out her podcast, will continue to watch her. Becca – love her – she is the brighest and most chipper person I’ve seen in a long time. And — When Your Pregnant IT IS All ABOUT YOU — Ya’ll were like three friends hanging out together and thank you for letting us enjoy your good time.
Thanks everyone for putting in the links for eyes – was going to look for some in a couple of weeks, now I’ll just shop on line.
Laura and Leslie — Travel Safe.
Just wondering what was the name of the shawl Laura was working on……. one she had made several times and showed at the beginning of the show?
Love your show!
Susan
Thanks for all of the eye recommendations!!! I’m going to place my order today!
Hooray for seeing Becca Face on the podcast! Also, we have safety eyes at Yarn Cravin’, girlfriend. You can get some next month. 🙂 Great podcast, girllls and forget the anonymous negativity.
It’s too bad Anonymous has too much sand in his or her genitals to enjoy what was yet another great videocast from Laura and Leslie. The hour flew right by and it was great watching the 3 of you guys. I agree with Becca, you two should totally come to Chicago and we will show you around 😀 Also props to BadAmy’s bags – she really has the best bags and her yarn is to die for!
Becca was great! I died laughing when she was saying how she hadn’t knit for her baby because she hadn’t met him yet and didn’t know if she liked him well enough. (Paraphrased, but you know what I mean.) Also cracked up when Leslie made her “I may be talking out of my butt” comment.
I think the title says it all…I love all three of those faces. It was nice to put a face to Becca since I know her from plurk and such and then the other two are just some of my favorite faces.
The episode was excellent as usual and the negative nellies just need to get a grip.
LOVED the interpersonal dynamics with the three of you–it was extra spicy with the 3rd personality 🙂 The tangents and comments were just so fun. It didn’t seem at all like an hour had passed–love you Knit Girllls, and now Becca!
I loved it,and the daybreak shawl is so cool.
