Leslie has cast on some Single Malt Woolmeise 100% for the Make a Wish socks. She is using the pattern, Bavarian Cables, by Wendy Johnson. She is going to knit them on size 1 needles.
Leslie has finished knitting an Abalone by Beata Jezek out of Tempted Sly Girl in a Sweet Red held doubled on size 8 (5.0 mm) needles.
Laura has finished after thought heel socks out of Vesper in Hocus Pocus on size 1.5 needles. She has also finished the mutant mitered crosses square.

I really liked the articles, but ended up leaving it on the B&N shelf, simply because there was only a few items that I would actually knit. I may go back and buy it at some point. “Coney Island” is an eye-popping combination of juicy red, purple and turquoise. Love this colorway of spinning fiber! These are my colors!
I especially gravitate toward the colorways that have no white showing. I can always add white wool myself if I want. I prefer that if I buy dyed wool that it all be dyed completely.
Gal in my knit group knows Cloudlover personally and praises her colorways (and yes she did get the SAL fiber y’all are doing….)
and I have to say that BRAINS!! would be my favorite roving on her site currently due to the name and the color and all her handpainted yarns are quite lovely as well

Ooh, madeira is probably the first orange/red colorway I’d consider using which I mean as a compliment (i’m a purple blue kind of girl) but it is luscious and needs to be mine. Gorgeous and textured. Sante sangria is a close second.

NO affiliation, yadda yadda but I have to say I was SUPER impressed with the patterns in this last issue. And since you are all new age internet podcasters – what’s more appropriate than an Ezine that can be accessed within minutes by your viewers? Also Knitcircus is coming out tomorrow, and promises to have some cool designs in it.

Wow! What an amazing giveaway! Just spun up the Haunted Vineyard in record time it was so gorgeous!!! If I have to pick a favorite I can only narrow it down to 3! Blackberry Truffle, Ingrid, and Hebrides! And I’m so sorry about your Loop bat Leslie! My cats are constantly on the prowl for only my best fiber and yarn so I can sympathize!
I love all the colorways they are all gorgeous. But if forced to choose i would pick the Aegean colorway as my favorite. Those are the colors i tend to gravitate to for myself. But she just has an excellent way with color you couldnt make a bad choice.

Cloudlover’s colors are amazing! And because of YOU girllls, I spent WAY too much time oogling over her Etsy page. I particularly love Morel and Brass Petals (both sold unfortunately, which makes me covet them even more). But honestly, my FAVORITE is the Gift Certificate colorway. =)

Cloudlover has so many lovely colorways, it’s hard to narrow it down! Here’s a few of the ones that are calling to me: Santa Sangre, Poison Apple, Hibiscus, Hanging Garden, Crusoe, Magic Flute, Aegean (WANT!!), Cold Front, and Hebrides.
Also, I have to say, between you two enabling on the vidcast and all the lovely roving on the Cloudlover’s site, I really, really wish I knew how to spin!
