Laura is knitting on Little Shells on size 8 needles using Leslie’s Tempted Yarns handspun. She is also knitting on a mystery project for the Rebecca Danger groups fairy tale swap.
Leslie is knitting on a Thin Ice Shawl out of 800 yards of Hanspun (Miss Babs and Fiber Optic plyed together for 800 yards).
Laura has finished a pair of Socks on a Plane (pattern coming soon) on size 1.5 needles out of Barking Dogs Yarns in her Opposites Attract base. The colorway is Darcy and Elizabeth. She has also finished the shawl she is designing using Unwind Yarn Company. Her LaLa’s Simple Shawl out of some handspun for the knitalong in the LaLa Knits Group is also complete. She has used some scrap Spud and Chloe Sweater to knit a pair of Jelly Bean Baby Socks using size 7 needles.
Leslie has finished the Pomme de pin Cardigan by Amy Christophers out of Berroco Vintage dk. She is knitting it on size 6 and 4 needles.
Laura is spinning on her new Bosworth. It is Llama, Mohair, BFL from Autumn House Farms. She also spun some corespun using mohair as the core and some batts purchased from a local vendor at the Middle TN Fiber Festival (40 yards).
Both Laura and Leslie show off the samples they spun in Jacey Bogg’s class and Fleegle’s supported spindling class.
Leslie has spun a lovely bulky using batts from Ever Improving Me (80 or so yards).
